On September 14, 2020 evening I went to obtain my Mother-In-Law's antibiotic prescription as she was post-op from repeat bladder cancer surgery and not well. I was told she was allergic to some meds that may be in conflict with this prescription and needed confirmation from patient she could take this med, otherwise they could not give it to me. She was asleep so we waited until the next day. The pharmacy was called by her Daughter the next am and things seemed resolved for me to pick the prescription up. When I arrived I waited in line, when finally to the pharmacy window they could not find the prescription and was told they would call me. Throughout this conversation with the pharmacy tech (Sierra), she was perceived by me as mean, hateful, belittling and unconcerned. i.e. Copped an attitude. No sorry for your inconvenience or we will get right on this and get it resolved as one would expect in dealing with a business. I was angry and voiced I was not happy. I then went to the store manager to discuss the matter. She was gracious and kind telling me they would get this resolved. I left the the store only to called by the pharmacy in the parking lot that the prescription was available. I returned to the pharmacy encountering the same technician with the same attitude. Speaking loudly as if I couldn't hear her so I returned my response loudly to her. No apologies. I think some folks need some education in customer service etiquette.
I will not be shopping Walgreens in the near future. I haven't been this angry in years.
