What a scam operation in my opinion. We purchased a washer and dryer to be delivered or 7/17/21 for the washer and sometime in august for the dryer when it became available. On Saturday the 17th we received a call from the purported driver stating that he would be at our home in approximately 40 mins. Around 10:30 am. We were there all day and all evening. We called back on the drivers cellphone number once he was more that an hour late. He did not answer his phone and it said his mailbox was full. We were unable to leave a message. We called the Lexington bestbuy and were greeted by an automated "assistant" that promptly informed us the "this location is not accepting telephone calls" WTF. Not accepting telephone calls? We had just been in the store 2 days before and there were lots of employees just milling around. Not accepting calls at this time? Did they just file bankruptcy of something?. We called the only delivery number
we could find And were told they were a third party provider. We have them our info and were told we were next in his delivery. Another hour goes by, no delivery. We call the delivery number again and ask WTF is going on. She says the driver had till 8 pm to make our delivery. I told her he called before 10 am and said he'd be there in 40 mins. She said she'd contact him. She came back on the line and said he must be busy? Because she couldn't get him. I said his mailbox is full and you couldn't leave a message. She said he had till 8 o'clock again. I told her it is absolutely pitiful how companies hide behind technology to lie to customers who were promised deliveries. She hung up on me.
We cancelled our $1800 purchase and went somewhere else. Buyer beware. They don't have the products they are selling you. The first clue was we could not pick up the items at the store. Why? Pure scanners in my opinion.
Desired outcome: Be able to speak to a real person
