My husband has lung cancer and I have been picking up prescriptions for my him for close to 4 years at the CVS on Middlesex in Lowell, MA.
My complaint is regarding a pharmacy technician who I find hot or cold depending on what day I am at her mercy! A couple of weeks ago I had a coupon for Anoro and it was typed into his profile. When I picked up his script for this, the coupon did not show up when checking out — I explained that this has been done already, but she told me I needed to go to another window to get this taken care of and that a new label needed to be printed. I asked why do I have to do this — it was done and can she just check — no can do. I went to the window, straightened out the issue and waited again, thinking this would only take a minute. I saw it put back into the basket and thought she would call me to check out. She went on break and completely ignored me! This is unacceptable! I go to this CVS because it is close, but my patience has run thin! Half the time they do not have enough sodium pills to fill my husband's sodium prescription and I have to go to another CVS and pick them up — not what I expect to do or should have to do!
Desired outcome: Should streamline the process of checking prescriptions. When ordering, check scripts to make sure supply meets demand! Customer training is needed in the pharmacy.
