KFC - Bucket meal

Today 5/10/23 before 6pm I went through the KFC drive thru at State St. in Springfield, MA. I ordered a 12 piece bucket meal, original recipe, no breasts, with Mac n cheese and 2 mash & gravies, and an 8 piece chicken tender. When I got home, which was 20 minutes away, I saw that we were not given any of the sides, and that there were breast’s in the bucket. I called and was on hold several minutes. I was told to come back with everything and the receipt and they’d fix us everything new. We did this. As the employee was filling the new bucket we saw that she was adding breast’s, which we specifically asked to not have. When we reminded her, she told us that was all they had. We then just asked for a full refund. That worker angrily and loudly said to the manager that now that she was preparing the order, we wanted a refund. The manager was very nice though, we got our refund. I was told I’ll see it on my card tomorrow. I asked for and got a receipt for proof.

We then went to the KFC on Boston Rd. First, the server got the order wrong. The manager then refunded and reordered. Same order. 12 piece original meal with no breasts, and 8 piece tenders chicken. There was a 6 minute wait for the chicken - no problem. We also waited another 10 minutes for the biscuits but ended up just leaving without that.

We get home to eat, and there’s breasts. The one thing we specifically ordered to not include.

I’m sending this because no customer should be driving over 9” minutes and have to go through this much for something they clearly want to eat, only to still not get what they ordered. I’d call this branch, but clearly I don’t want another 45 minutes on the road, and we just want to eat Whatever we have at this point. But it’s very disappointing.

Desired outcome: To be honest, I think we should get a full refund. But mostly, I want to see clearly better service. The money I spent on this we could’ve gone to a decent sit down full service restaurant for dinner.
