On October 16, 2024, I visited the KFC at 3815 E Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, Florida, as a paying customer, having placed an order through the KFC app. Upon arrival, I received only part of my meal, with the drinks and remainder of my order missing. When I addressed the issue with the employee, Keishla Velez Delestre, she was dismissive and refused to correct the mistake. Instead of attempting to resolve the situation, she escalated it by making an unprofessional threat and slamming the drive-thru window in my face.
When KFC employees called the police, the officers failed to properly investigate the situation and treated me as a suspect rather than a customer with a legitimate concern. Despite my calm demeanor and clear explanation of the issue, I was threatened with violence, forcibly removed from my vehicle, and arrested without being informed of any crime. The officers’ actions were excessive and unjustified.
Furthermore, after my arrest, KFC employees provided my full order, showing that I was rightfully requesting what I had paid for. This suggests the arrest was not about trespassing, but rather an attempt to retaliate against me for addressing a customer service issue.
The officers’ treatment of me was not only excessive but also biased. They made inappropriate and false comments about me, which compounded the injustice of the situation. Their actions were an abuse of power and a violation of my rights.
I am requesting an internal review of the conduct of KFC employees and the officers involved, as well as appropriate actions to address the wrongful arrest, excessive force, and discrimination I experienced. If this matter is not addressed properly, I will consider further legal action.
Sincerely,
Rashad Lott

I dount the police did a poor job of investigating. You did wrong, you were a threat, and they had to call the police on you. I like how you claim you were "calm" when you were loud and yelling at the officer. That makes you lose your case. Then to have the claim to claim "discrimination" is icing on the cake. I blame your parents for not raising you right. The voice confirms that you were yelling.
