Home Depot

Its now 19 Nov 2021. Months ago, I contacted Home Depot about having hardwood flooring installed in my house. They said they'd need to measure first and then we could discuss price and installation. THEN, over the next 10 weeks, they fiddled around, measuring once, and thinking about it for weeks. Finally they answered my question, which was WHAT was the hold up. They said due to the strange shape of my stairs, (which is a STANDARD RYAN HOME btw, there's 200 in my subdivision alone, all the SAME town home), that they couldn't really come up with a price. I said "look, i'm not gonna haggle over a FEW dollars. give me a price and let's get the installation underway." They did... giving me a price $300 OVER their first price of $9200. Delivery day, I was told as the stuff was arriving within the hour that they'd dump in on the curb, instead of bring it in the house (as promised. i'm elderly, and can't move hundreds of pounds of hardwood flooring). THEN, their team they sent over didn't speak english, except the team lead. I had 2 rules: 1) shut the doors when not using them (I have mischievous cats that will tear up everything) and 2) clean up any mess you make. BOTH rules they ignored. THEN to make matters worse, they just left for the day halfway into their project. Turns out half the order wasn't ordered/delivered. SO, weeks now with my house in COMPLETE DISARRAY (all my living room furniture is CRAMMED into the kitchen), they've YET to finish. they claimed the delivery would be this week. They lied. we'd set up an install date of 7 Dec. but now they are telling me the rest of the part won't arrive by then. They've left my garage a COMPLETE disaster, with sawdust EVERYWHERE.
