Walgreens - Prescription processing/mobile app

This occurred at Walgreens 9616 Harford Road, Baltimore, MD 21234. I put my prescription in for my monthly asthma medicine on December 29. The status on the app said it was "processing" and would be ready December 29 in the evening. Well that never happened. As of today it still said "processing" and another RX I had put in was just randomly canceled.

I called, went through the useless tree, sat on hold and finally got a human in the pharmacy. First she said I had no active prescriptions. Finally she said they needed a prior authorization (? I have been getting both for ages and never needed one before.). She also claimed that the app reflected this status. That is a lie. The app reflects nothing at all except "processing" for one and "canceled" for the other.

I requested a prior auth from my doctor who may ot even be in today due to snow. This is an ASTHMA MAINTENANCE medication and I am OUT. If your mobile app will not give correct or helpful information, you MUST notify people about these kinds of issues because their health is at stake! If you're too busy to notify people, FIX THE MOBILE APP so that it gives a correct status when I look at it!

I know Walgreens is busy but this is not the first time we've been through a Covid upswing AND I'm not complaining about swiftness of service (I stood in a 20 person line last week to pick up a prescription and did not complain.) I'm complaining about Walgreens being utterly uncaring and lackadaisical about people's health. An automated update system would actually be helpful. I don't WANT to have to call and talk to people. If I had been notified on the 29th or 30th that I needed the prior auth, this would have been resolved already.

Attached is screenshot of the Wagreens app giving incorrect information. It still says it will be ready "December 29." It is now January 3.

As it is, my health is at risk through no fault of my own.

Desired outcome: I want an apology, an acknowledgment that your app does not reflect correct information, and I want you to fix this by either fixing the app or instituting notifications when people need prior auths.
