On 6/9/21, I was in the Metro PCS store on Ford Road in Canton, MI. It was the third time I'd been in the store that week. A man named Marvin helped me each time. The first time was a Sunday. I came in for a new phone, but there was a high security code that I didn't know on my account. Marvin said sometimes dealers see a pretty girl and put a password on their account to force them to come back to the same store. I didn't like that comment, but I also let it pass and didn't say anything. Marvin told me to come back the next day, and he could call corporate to help me. I returned the next day, and Marvin called corporate, but they insisted I had to go to their brick and mortar office to show my ID. On Wednesday afternoon, I went to corporate, showed my ID, and they removed the high security code. That night, I went back to see Marvin because I wanted him to have my business since he was so patient and helpful with the situation. I bought the phone, Marvin transferred my old phone info into the new phone. He offered a phone case at a discounted rate. I declined. He then advised me to be careful until I could get a case for it, to keep it in my back pocket. I jokingly said women have little to no back pockets. And Marvin said, "I know. You women with your tight pants, turning us on." I felt very uncomfortable with that statement, so I grabbed the little bag of equipment and left.
I've been with Metro for a long time, and I've been relatively happy with the phone service and customer service. This incident, however, really has me rethinking things. I am, frankly, grossed out by the behavior.
Desired outcome: I would like this incident discussed with Marvin, so he is aware of hi inappropriateness. And I would like a $200 rebate on the phone I purchased.
