Introduction
Walgreens Pharmacy is a well-known and reputable pharmacy that is committed to offering high-quality medical services to its clients. However, based on my personal experience, I found that the service provided by pharmacist and manager was inappropriate and quite frankly, disrespectful. This report will walk through my experience with the said pharmacist and manager and how their unprofessionalism affected me as a client of Walgreens Pharmacy.
Partial Refill Issue
I had given a prescription to Walgreens Pharmacy that was supposed to be refilled for 75 tablets. However, on collecting my medicine, I was given only 60 tablets, without any proper explanation from the pharmacist or manager. I had to question the pharmacists and bring it to their notice. They didn't seem to take my concern seriously and brushed me off. To me, this is a complete lack of professionalism.
Lack of Notification
The worst part of the experience with Walgreens Pharmacy was the lack of communication and notification. They failed to notify that my prescription was refilled partially, which is an inconvenience. The negligence to notify can result in delays in getting the right dosage as I had to go back to the pharmacy twice. This is not only frustrating but also can result in medication mismanagement.
Disrespectful Behavior
The level of disrespect shown by the pharmacist and manager was appalling. They barely listened to my concerns and exhibited an indifferent attitude. They failed to provide me with the information that I needed to take proper care of my health. Moreover, I felt like I was being brushed off and my complaints were considered unimportant.
Conclusion
In conclusion, my experience with Walgreens Pharmacy, pharmacist and manager has been quite disappointing. The absence of communication and notification, as well as unprofessional behavior, negatively impacted my trust in the pharmacy.
I hope that Walgreens Pharmacy takes note of my concern and gives adequate training to their employees especially on the importance of proper communication, and notification as well as customer service.
Discrimination is a big part of it if you have for example a high score of narcotic history they treat you like you are a animal behind bars. People change no judgment should be allowed regarding medication especially people other people look up to for example management.. something should be done immediately.
Desired outcome: Action should be taken and they should be handled a punishment whatever the punishment will be, they keep doing this without consequences
