I went into Aspen Dental to have my front tooth fixed, it was loose, x-rays were taken, was told he had 9 abscessed teeth and that all of my teeth needed to be removed and fitted for dentures. It has been almost a year and I still do not have fitting dentures, they are uncomfortable, painful, and fall out. I even went to a different Aspen Dental in St. Cloud Minnesota with no results. Asked for medical records and was denied: "The dentist would not pull all my teeth if it wasn't needed". He was forced to either pay upfront or sign papers for Dental First, which is what he did as he did not expect this. Dental first wanted me to pay over $200/mo at 14.99% for 48 months, I put my balance on a Credit Card that has 0% interest so that all monies go to the principal. After filing my first complaint here, I received a statement from Dental First stating that I was given a credit of $2, 971.50-Do Not Pay, just last week I received a letter from the Office Manager, Corbin Heimsness, apologizing for my bad experience at the Baxter Minnesota location and sent me, by FedEx, a packet of $300 gift cards! 6 of them! What the Hell does that do?
Desired outcome: To have me dentures fixed and that you stand by your word of Money Back Guarantee-all the money
Aspen Dental - Unethical behavior
Bradley Edberg, Patient#[protected]-0: Went to Aspen Dental to get my front tooth fixed, it was loose, x-rays were taken, and was told that I had "some abscessed" teeth and would need to have "all" my teeth pulled, which took 2 days to do. While there, the dentist dropped a tooth down my throat and ran out of Novocaine. I was "fitted" for dentures, given wearable ones until the swelling could go down. When back for adjustments as requested and was told "it's like a new pair of shoes, you gotta wear them in". I refused to go to the Baxter, MN clinic and started going to an office in St. Cloud, MN hoping to get some relief, to no avail. The dentures do not fit properly after numerous inquiries, constantly loose or fall out, cannot chew properly or without discomfort, and took over a year to get my "permanent" dentures! I asked for my records and was told no and that the dentist would not have pulled my teeth unless needed. Their "Money-back guarantee" is also false, and only 2 options for a payment plan in which they use Dental First, so they get paid immediately, at 29.99% interest or pay cash. When confronted, was told that only $2, 971.50 would be refunded as they did do the extractions, leaving me with a $4, 000 bill, poorly fitting dentures, and unable to eat properly.
Desired outcome: Get fitted properly with dentures, and stand by your "Money back Guarantee"
