I recently checked into the Super 8 on Rangeline in Joplin, Missouri. Went to my room and after 30 minutes it became apparent I would get no sleep due to the noise and activity taking place outside and in the adjacent room. I returned to the front desk and expressed my concerns and asked for another room closer to the front of the motel. Not only did the front desk attendant not help me, he thought it was funny and refused to give me a new room or a refund. I filmed people putting up ladders against the wall, setting out cones and caution tape. It looked like a construction company was working. I brought this matter to an attorney and he advised me to give corporate a chance to handle thismatter. I have always used Super 8 in my 57 years and have never had a problem . This was easily remedied but the guy at the front desk failed miserably. I finally left and went to another hotel which acted professional . I thought you were up until now.
