Had an appoint to get my Long Hair Dachshund bathed and groomed 1/27/2022 at 2:00pm. Arrived at store was relaying information, shots etc at the counter.
I had Sancho on his leash in front of the desk when Mallory came out from behind the counter and started giving Sancho a physical.
Our dog is our Baby and does not like to be separated from us especially my wife.
Mallory put a slip collar around his neck and wanted Sancho to follow her but he resisted because we were standing there.
He finally went behind the counter and we walked out the door. The girl caught us before we got completely out of the store & said to come back. My wife came back with Sancho stating they had refused to groom him because he was 11 years old.
We were taking him to Pet Smart but we live in Kernersville NC and Pet Smart is in Winston Salem. We came home & called Pet Smart and have an appoint 1/28/2022.
The groomer, Mallory, acted like we were beneath her and were were not worthy for her to groom our pet and was good enough for her time. I have never in my life seen a company that can afford to turn away business and at the same time make a customer feel unworthy of their attention.
Sancho is a sweet dog that loves attention. The only thing he don't like is an UPS truck.
