Home Depot - 24 cu ft french doors refrigerator sku #[protected]

On February 6th 2023, I went to 955 Bloomfield ave, Clifton NJ 07012 and salesperson BXC4212 sold me a floor model LG Refrigerator. I asked what warranties do I have if something is wrong with this product, he said I have 90 days to return to Homedepot and 10 years from LG the company it self. So I went on to buy the product and ask to wrap up in protective paper of something and I will come the next day to pick up. My house was being completely renovated, and the kitchen needed a Refrigerator to measure out cabinets. The kitchen renovations was completed March 30th 2023 and We moved in April 1st 2023. After noticing that the refrigerator was not working and not cooling (Freezer does not work) I went back to the store for a return or what can I do. The sales person told me to call LG for a tech to repair, and so I did just that. The tech who name was Randy came April 12 th 2023 and said that mice had eat thru wires and drainage from back of the TV. Our house was being renovated Since Dec 2022 and has been empty since May/June 2022 so mice was never a problem. I call Homedepot while tech Randy was there and explain what happen and they said this must have happen in home depot warehouse.

I went back to the Clifton store and spoke to assistance manager Katlyn and she said she would discuss with manager. The next day I spoke to her where [censored] she was upset for me calling to get an update and said that she would be the one who would make the final decision and would call me at 1pm. After waiting until almost 4pm I called again for which she rudely said that they would not return funds or try to get me another refrigerator because I had only 48 hrs to return. I ask for a manager to call me back and 15-20 mins later Store manager Frank Fearon call me and said that I was out of luck and no matter what I would not get my money back. I was upset and told him that I would get my funds back and that he was selling products that do not work and this is fraud. I feel that he was discriminating and if it had been someone else he would have tried to resolve this matter
