I purchased multiple items from the store at Jersey Gardens Mall in NJ on 9/20/23. Two of the items were a pair of shoes. After I got and tried the Bruno Mali shoe, I noticed that it was hurting my foot and was not comfortable at all. I went to return today 9/25/23 what they would not take it back as they said that it was a final sale. I have the receipt, the item in a brand new saleable condition, within the 30 days grace period and in compliance with the return policy and they would not take it back!. The staff handled the situation poorly as they were not accommodating and they never told me that the shoe item was a final sale. I asked where in the receipt or store policy that it says that cannot be returned or exchanged? they tried to show me and insisted that it was on the back of the receipt and the store sign but I didn't see it. They called the manager and still wasn't nice at all including the staff who sold me the shoe who insisted that she told me the it was a final sale when I purchased the shoes which no one else mentioned anything about.
This is robbery as I had a receipt, the item in saleable condition, unused, brand new and within 30 days policy. They said they could not take it and just left me at the counter and totally ignored me. They even forget to process the pants that I returned until reminded as they asked what do I want.
They really handled this very poorly and unacceptable behavior and policy as I was in compliance with ALL the requirements for a return.
Desired outcome: I would like to return the item and get a refund as the shoe is uncomfortable. This is for the $119.97 shoes under transaction 83724. Store 715, TRM:008 Associate Tyonah 225458 dated 9/20/23
