Yesterday, at the CVS on State hwy 36 and Palmer Ave., W. Keansburg NJ, I inadvertently left a small plastic envelope containing my medicare card, health insurance card, etc., on the front checkout counter. When I realized I had left it, I immediately called the store to ask if the cards were there. I was told they were. However, I am presently recovering from injuries sustained in an auto accident and have no car. I asked if it were possible to mail me the cards; the woman who answered said they don't keep stamps so she couldn't do that for me. Today, I called back and spoke to the same woman, asked if I could mail the store a self-addressed, stamped envelope and have them mail the cards back to me in this envelope. She said she never had done that and could not just do it. She also said she is one of the managers. If a manager can't figure out a simple request, what does that say about CVS' customer service?
Trying to reach corporate by phone - left on hold for 40 minutes! Finally, get a customer service rep; explained situation. Her solution - she is going to forward the problem to the district leader, who will (supposedly) get back to me within 24-48 hours. And I quote: "CVS does not mail things out"?
Desired outcome: have my cards sent back to me.
