I got my carpet installed on 01/17/2022 and the fibers kept coming up so I called Home depot. They said they would have to schedule an inspection. We scheduled three different inspections that took 8 months to get through. I was 8 months pregnant when the inspector finally determined that the carpet was a manufacture defect and shouldn't have been installed. I told the lady I need the carpet installed before the baby is born. She told me I will need to pick a new color because the original color isn't made anymore. So, I picked a different color and a week later she told me the new color wouldn't be available for months and if I wanted it before the baby was born to pick a different one. So, I went down and picked three different colors and told her whatever one she can get in. She then informed me the first color became available. Each time the carpet was out in my husband moved all the furniture to help out. After the carpet was installed each time when he asked for help moving it back, they declined saying they didn't have time. The installers stated the people who installed the previous carpet no longer work for Home Depot. The new carpet started to split at the seams. My husband had to super glue the seam in our bedroom seeing as I had already tripped over it and was a huge safety concern. Then all the rest of the seams started coming up. I called Home Depot again but didn't have my order number she said she couldn't find it and it could have been at another store. As I was talking to her, I pulled up my online account and chatted with someone. They found my order number with just my number and email. I gave her my order number and she sent an inspector. The inspector stated the people who installed this time are no longer with their company. The inspector fixed most of the seam stating he can't fix the seam in our bedroom because it was glued down. I was upset because it's not going to get fixed because we were concerned about our safety. Then the seam that was coming up in the living room they stated was temporary fixed. They said it would need to be replaced and the rest of the carpet probably should to because the installers didn't use a hot iron to melt the tape for the carpet to stick. He said he would submit the report and see what his boss said. I didn't hear anything, so I contact Home Depot again. She said she will contact them and let me know that night. She didn't email me back after almost 2 months I emailed her asking what's happening and she says she talked to reno floor, and they said everything was fine. She is not sure what I'm talking about. I'm so frustrated my daughter is crawling and keep thinking what if she gets hurt. I feel like the lady at Home Depot and the girl from reno floors are trying to waste time. So it doesn't become their problem. Also no one has even apologized to me for all this and offered me nothing. Order number H3312-173592
Desired outcome: I want a refund I will go somewhere else
