At one time, there was a public bathroom for customers. Customers are now told instead, they have no access and are told to go somewhere else if it was urgent or an emergency. There is a made shift sign that states in a red marker, that the bathroom is out of order. On the two days I was at the pharmacy several employees used it, therefore, making it worse, as the sign posted was a lie. When confronted the employees who were exiting the bathroom told me in front of others, it was not for use by customers anymore. One other customer asked, even if it’s an emergency or urgent need. The response from the employee was go outside to another business and use their facilities, you cannot use this one anymore. She even suggested to ask the manager, and I did, who stated to me, it was out of order, but evidently, it was not. Either way, I and other customers, could not gain access. It’s a shame as the store is in an area with many senior citizens and middle class people who are treated by some of the employees with disdain.
Desired outcome: Once again, make the bathrooms next to the pharmacy available to customers who are need of it. Replace some employees who are rude and obnoxious to customers.
CVS - Service
Today, I bought a number of items in your store on 235st in Riverdale, Bronx. I was appalled when I was told that there were no bags for which I could carry my items out of the store. Then, to make matters worse, I was told that there were no pennies for which to give me change. Instead, they kept the three cents rather than picking up the difference caused by their lack of change. I have been a CVS customer for many years and have never experienced such unprofessional lack of service. I will never visit that store again and will take my business to Walgreens down the street.
Desired outcome: Return reply.
CVS - No telephone response / auto refills without authorization
I have been a customer of the particular location for more than 11 years. Since the newest pharmacist has come on board, it has gone terribly downhill overnight.
Every review is the same… no one picks up the phone ever! Not even a different CVS to this one.
They are now refilling all my RX's without my authorization. I am not on auto refill and never was.
I had to fill a controlled pain drug due to an upcoming surgery at another CVS due to the fact that 235th St didn't have it in stock. The CVS that did fill it for me tried for hours to contact them with no response. When they did get it back in stock, they refilled it without checking to see that had already been picked up. Again, this is a controlled substance.
The regional managers need to step up and do their jobs. This location is in danger of loosing many of their customers. A disgrace to the CVS reputation, not to mention the miserable treatment your customers are receiving.
Please take notice immediately
Desired outcome: Do not refill any RX’s without my asking for them
CVS - Pharmacy complaint
CVS pharmacy in Riverdale is authorized to administer COVID 19 vaccines however their authorization should be rebuked. Their staff is highly unqualified. They are rude, unprofessional and they discourage anyone from ever wanting to go to their pharmacy. My daughter had an appointment for her first covid vaccine shot today. Their was an error on the pharmacy's system and the staff member who declined to provide her name and was not wearing a name tag was rude. My husband attempted to speak to her and she told him "I am not speaking to you I am speaking to her so move away". My husband as gentleman stepped aside not to start an argument. She continued to speak to my daughter who is 17years old in a high authoritative and argumentative manner. No one stepped in to speak to this employee and correct her manner. My daughter who is not used to anyone speaking to her like that became emotional. When she arrived home she began to cry uncontrollably. I will also add that the area where they are administering these shots is extremely dirty and right next to the public bathroom. When ever the bathroom door opens the smell is horrendous. This place should have a through review, a new management and new staff.
Desired outcome: An audit, and thorough review should take place ASAP.
CVS - Trying to refill my medicine
I use the cvs store at CVS Pharmacy at 565 West 235th Street, Bronx, NY 10463.
I'm calling to refill an important medication. Furthermore, I've been waiting, so far, 40 minutes. No one answers my call. It's disgusting, I have to wait and wait for someone to answer my call and fill my prescription.

Desired outcome: Someone should answer the God damn phone.
My CVS has caller ID and refuses to answer if a woman calls.
