My name is Beverly Cutkelvin. I am writing this complaint because I need to be compensated for my eye glass case, which was a name Brand case "Torri Birch" that I mistakenly left at the check out machine. On December 16, 2019 after 7pm I visited the CVS pharmacy at 30 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, New York 11217. I made a purchase, paid and left to go home. About 30 minutes after leaving the store I discovered I didn't have my eye glass case with me. I immediately called the store at 718-858-6712 and spoke with a male clerk inquiring if I had left my eye glass case at the store. I told the clerk that the case is an orange "Tory Birch" case and the clerk advised me that I did left it there at the store. I told the clerk that I will be back the following day to pick up the case. I work across the street from the store at 395 Flatbush Avenue Extension 11201. On 12/18/2019 I went back to the store to claim my eye glass case. I waited for 1hour while the clerk at the register and the manager Adrian Rupan searched for my eye glass case. They were unable to find my eye glass case. The manager Adrian Rupan advised me that he will speak with the late manager Dennis Harris who was working that night and will have him call me on 12/19 to advise of the eye glass case. I never received a call from the manager. On 12/19/2019 I went back to the store and spoke with both managers Adrian Rupan and Dennis Harris. Manager Dennis Harris spent about 30 minutes working on locating my eye glass case. after the 30minutes he told me that he found out that someone claimed the eye glass case the said night of 12/16/2019 that I left it at the store. I find this highly unlikely being that I called and advised the clerk that I would be back the following day to get my eye glass case. Also, the case is a unique color of Orange. I don't believe that someone else claimed my eye glass case. I believe that someone who works at the store took my case. How ironic that someone would claim the case the same night I forgot it there!
The manager Adrian Rupan was very professional and nice and offered me a generic eye glass case. I accepted his offer because I needed a case to keep my glasses in to prevent it from possible getting broken.
I am looking forward to hearing from someone in reference to being compensated for my eye glass case. My email address is Beverly [protected]@hotmail.com. Also, I can be reached at [protected].
Sincerely
Beverly Cutkelvin
