CVS - pharmacy

8/21- I called cvs to fill my script which they recieved on 8/19. They told me they didn't have enough in stock until the next day. I then said can you partial this medication as I need it today and you have had this script since 8/19. After explaining there is an issue every time I fill my script and I don't understand why this is as it's every month, and waiting, I was finally told (in a condescending tone) they'd give me 2. I was given 2 on 8/21 and was given a remaining 20 the next day. The bottle says 28 days but the quantity is only 22. I am sure this will be an issue next month.

9/12- Called cvs to fill my script. Last script I was given a partial on 8/21 and picked up the rest on 8/22. The script was written for 28 but I was only given a total of 22 pills. At first I was told that it wasn't due yet which I then explained to them the above scenario. Once they realized I was correct they then told me that there was actually an issue with the script. I asked what the issue was which they replied he put the wrong dose on the script. Seeing the script from my end it read "2 MG" "1 tablet under tongue once daily" which is correct. However they claimed it said 1mg under tongue once daily. I then suggested that they fill the remaining pills from the previous script from 8/21 which should have been filled for 28, but was only filled for 22. I was told that refill wasn't due until 9/19. That would only be the case if I were given a 28 day supply. Which again I was only provided a 22 day supply. Which tells me they only bother to read what is right in front of their face.

Feeling defeated and embarrassed I reached out to the Dr and asked for a new script which was sent (I've had to do this several times due to cvs's lack of following through.) I have them a solid 4 hrs and upon showing up I was told again that it was being flagged bc it was too early. I explained for the now 4th time today that it wasn't too early. After me sitting there and waiting and them actually taking the time to look into this properly they finally figured out that I in fact am correct. They gave me a partial of 3 with a remaining 25 to be filled. I asked why this happens to me every time I call, and I was told to speak with a pharmacist from now on as they can see more then what a tech can. Otherwise next time I call it would be the same issue, as the computer will show that 28 were given to me on 9/14. Had they not explained this to me I would be going through the same thing I have now gone through more than a dozen times. But because I finally snapped and told them they're profiling me bc of the medication I'm on and treating me like I'm a feen they actually took the time to explain this to me. Every time I call I feel major anxiety bc it's always the same argument but yet somehow it's never fixed. It's very disheartening that I have to feel this way every month when filling my medication. I can't imagine how many people deal with this that don't know to advocate for themselves

So basically, every month I call cvs they give me a run around, once confronted they give me a different reason. This is EVERY MONTH. Until I was finally told that when given a partial, the computer essentially tracks the date I pick up the remaining pills, not the actual fill date. And it's only upon further investigating that they see this and it can be overridden to be submitted. Considering they are giving me partials every month bc for whatever reason they never have the full 28 in stock... This seems to be the reason why I have an issue every month. But it wasn't until I brought up them profiling me that they actually took the time to dive into this matter and at least give me some sort of answer. I think it's extremely unwarranted and extremely unfair that I have had to endure this kind of treatment on going for over a year and a half. At what point do they say, hey this girl actually takes her medication as prescribed. Or at least put it in their notes to dig deeper. But instead it seems to be easier to just label me as a "drug seekers term I have spent the past 8 years running from by cleaning up my life... but now every 28 days I go back to feeling like exactly that bc CVS refuses to put 2 extra minutes into doing their job.
