Walmart - Online ordering

To Whom It May Concern:

I am very unhappy with Walmart and I would like my issue to be rectified.

Items: Mainstays 7-Piece Grey Bed in a Bag Comforter Set with Coverlet, King

On November 24, 2023 I purchased 4 comforter sets on Black Friday at a sales price of $29.

Your site was very cumbersome. Looking for this item, your site, in one sitting, would go back and forth- saying the items are in stock in certain locations and then out of stock at all locations and then in stock again at specific locations. Initially, I had the pickup location at the Lockport, NY location. I ran another search and found the items stocked at the Cheektowaga, NY location so I cancelled at Lockport location and re-ordered at Cheektowaga location. After ordering the items, I had an original scheduled pick-up on Sunday, November 26. I even called your corporate Customer Service number on Saturday and the order was confirmed. Saturday, November 25 I had to reschedule the pick-up so I rescheduled for Monday, November 27 since I was allowed one rescheduling change.

Today, my husband arrives for our Monday, November 27 scheduled pick-up and no one could help him. None of the workers would help him. He gave the Customer Order number and nothing came up. I decided to look at my order on-line and to my surprise, found out my order was cancelled!

1. When my husband provided my customer order number and the employees looked it up in the system, the only the employees said was that it did not come up in the system. They couldn't find my order. Pulling up my order number should make my order come up in the system as an existing order, even if it was cancelled. They should have had the ability to tell us exactly what happened to my order. It would have minimized all of the confusion at the Cheektowaga location.

Also, the employees did not know the address on Walden. We were confirming the Cheektowaga location and the workers gave a completely different address than what was on my confirmed emails.

2. Why was order my order cancelled?!

When I called your corporate Customer Service line, the representative said the order was out of stock.

A reserved order means the customer wants and purchased the item. A reserved order means, unless the customer does not show up and pick up their items on the scheduled date, the items are the customers and the customer is on their way to pick up. Why wouldn't this location put my items in a separate area for reserved online orders?! Why would your Online Orders Department take my paid and reserved items and put them back on the floor to sell?!

3. I called the Corporate Customer Service line and the representative told me I had to continue to look at the site for the items I want to see if they were in stock and the Black Friday discount sales price would not be honored.

Walmart needs to make this up to ME. Your company screwed up my order and took it upon themselves to cancel my reserved and paid for order. Then to add insult to injury, I am told by your representative I have to search the site. No, Walmart needs to contact ME when these items are back in stock and Walmart needs to honor the Black Friday sales price because I already bought these items for the sales price.

Walmart messed this up and needs to rectify this.

4. When I asked the representative I wanted to speak with her manager, she either intentionally ignored me and would not respond to me, growing silent or intentionally hung up on me. I continued to say "Hello, Hello" and the phone had not disconnected.

This entire purchasing process to buy these items was absolutely terrible. From ordering the items, the site going back and forth in stock and out of stock, to arriving at the store for pickup of my online order and confusion at the Cheektowaga location to finding out on the site my order was cancelled to speaking with your rude representative, I am extremely dissatisfied. This was my first time ordering through your online store and it was 0 stars. Very poor integration and processing. Walmart needs to get it together and rectify this situation for me. I want the 4 items at the discounted Black Friday price I paid. Walmart also needs to work on an improved process for Online Orders.
