In mid-February I went to my local Blinds to Go store and decided to place an order. The expectation was that the blinds would take 4-6 weeks to be installed. I did not have my blinds fully installed until the first week of June. Various issues arose - missing parts, blinds measured AND installed incorrectly. While I currently have the blinds up, I wish I didn't. I spent over $1500 and the blinds look like I installed them myself (I'm terrible at installing blinds, hence why I thought I hired a professional). At one point, they only had one of the 5 blinds I ordered installed - my house was mismatched for a month. The blinds are mismatching lengths, valences are uneven - in the same room (higher or more wide than the windows). I had a family member inquire whether I went to budget blinds. I was told by the store I was entitled to reimbursement/compensation, and to contact customer service. I did, over a month ago. I was told that they would get back to me regarding compensation for all my trouble within 1-2 business days.. never heard back. I left messages, and have not received any further correspondence. I am incredibly disappointed.
