On 6/14/23, I booked a one-night stay at the JFK Radisson Hotel in Queens, NY, for 6/27/23, through a third party (ID90 Travel). Upon arrival at the hotel, I was told that my booking/reservation information was not found, and the hotel had no other available rooms. I was turned away and spent the night in JFK Airport, despite the fact I had an itinerary number, confirmation number and my credit card had been charged prior to the date of incident.
When trying to dispute the issue with ID90 Travel, I was told I would need to request authorization for a refund from Radisson. Through further research by ID 90 Travel, the manager of the property misrepresented that I had actually checked in very early the next morning; however, I did not. Through numerous emails between the manager and I (w/attachments containing evidence I did not stay at the hotel), he vacillated between not seeing my reservation and seeing check in to an assigned room. He feigned confusion, appeared to not fully comprehend how to redress the issue, cited incorrect information even when redirected, ceased communication and ultimately left me without remedy for my incurred expenses for an unsuccessful hotel stay. The manager of this property, and his staff, are highly unprofessional and incompetent and should not represent Radisson Hotels.
Desired outcome: I am requesting the manager of JFK Radisson Hotel NY, and/or a supervisor or manager higher in the organization, authorize a refund to ID90 Travel on my behalf.
