I purchased multiple bags of prescription Royal Canin Multifunction Renal Support and Hydrolyzed Protein dry dog food for my pet due to her Kidney disease and thyroid issues. I purchased multiple bags because there is a shortage of this particular food and it is almost impossible to find. Unfortunately my beloved dog Penny passed away and I still have 9 bags left. All the bags are unopened and have not been used and they don’t expire until 2024. inhaheball the receipts as well. I live 1 hour from the Petsmart #0739 s I called them and spoke to a manager named Jake. Jake had said they normally have a 60 day window to return food. I advised him that my receipts were more than 60 days and were 4 months old and some a little longer. Jake stated that due to the circumstances of the passing of my Penny and the scarcity of the food he will still be able to either give me my money back or a merchant give card for the return. I thanked him and then the next day I drove 1 hour to the petsmart with the food. I spoke with Jake in person and he was assisting me when he referred to another manager. (Unk name). This manager was much less friendly and told me there is nothing he can do. No return and no merchant card. So I drove an hour for nothing. I spend a ton of money on my pets and I will never shop at a petsmart again due to my treatment. Not only did I lose my beloved Penny but now I’m told by a million dollar business that they can’t help me. Terrible customer service. My name is [edited] and I can be reached at [edited] . Desired outcome: I would like to be able to return the dog food as it’s still factory sealed and not expired. And I would like my money back or at the very least a merchant gift card for petsmart.
PetSmart - grooming services
Erin (and I don't know her last name but will find out) is abusing animals. Do not take your pet there. They have a camera in the front grooming area where they trim nails but they have no audio. Erin knows this as I just found out she abused another small poodle type dog while shampooing in back. His eyes were bloodshot and they did not tell the owner. But the owner brought to vet and told them looks like he was severely shaken. Oh sure you call petsmart corporate and their excuse was the dogs nail was caught on something... Erin knows there are no cameras in rear. She is the manager and she is the most belligerent person. With my 1 dog (I had 2 with me) but erin was only one on and it was about 9 20 am.. She seemed miserable and took my poor little sharpei and put her up on the table for nails to be trimmed and my luna cried loudly and she's never done that before ever! My 5 year old grandson yells out "you're hurting my luna" after more crying I said, "what are you doing?" the way she was hunching over my dog seemed like she was putting her weight on her and her nails she probably was harming her to lash out whatever frustrations she has on animals there... She took my dog down and said, "maam do you trust me as your groomer?" I said, no way your're a horrible person and you shouldn't be anywhere near animals! Corporate told me they could clearly see things didn't end well but there was no audio and they saw my dog was close to edge of table but couldn't clearly see! Omg! And she still works there!
