Finally received my JCPenney credit card after buying a cookware set. I hate having debts hanging over me so I wanted to pay-off the balance straight-away. Imagine my consternation when, landing on the Payments page I could find no way to submit a payment other than submitting my bank account and routing numbers!
Considering all the data breaches in the news I wasn't about to enter this information. I was seeking to cut a check or make an electronic transfer from MY bank to JCPenny but there was no such option. I could ALSO not make a payment via Paypal - which would ensure my transaction was secure.
I finally drove back to the store (Galleria at Crystal Run Middletown NY) where I explained my concerns and was aided by 'Pauline' who was very polite and quickly resolved my transaction.
Desired outcome: Add an option to your CC 'Payments' page to enable customers in making payments on their JCPenney credit card accounts via their bank CCs and another to enable them to send funds from their bank accounts.

On 2/8/20 at 12:15pm I went to have my hair wash, blow out and flat iron at JC Penney Hair Salon in Middletwon, NY. During my entire time sitting in the chair, having this process done. The stylist next to me, kept on going on that she is the boss there and no one can tell her what to do. After my wash, blow out and flat iron process I paid my stylist (Cathy)for what she charged me to do my hair. Then the stylist who kept going on about how she is the boss. Told me that I need to pay $15 for extra for long hair for blowing out my hair and another $15 for long hair for flat ironing my hair. I have been to this salon before and only paid one time $15 extra for long hair. This rude stylist i.e. the fake boss, who did not even do my hair kept screaming at me that I need to pay $15 for the blow and another $15 for the flat iron. For an extra $30 in addtion to what the regular service chanrge was. I have been to many salons in my life and never paid an extra fee for every single process done to my hair. I totally understand paying more for the length. But that is usually a flat charge. This lady is a crook and very unprofessional screaming at a customer. Not to mention that she was not my sylist or even the boss of the salon. Why is she even involved in the process to begin. I would like my money back for this visit and a formal apology. This lady should be reprimanded. In this day and age where brick and mortar stores are closing up. JC Penney Salon has this unprofessional greedy person ripping of your customers. Something needs to be done about her. How can JC Penney tolerate having a self appointed boss. Who is running away your customers. This really could not be good for business.
