I am a customer at CVS, Pawling, NY. I called the store on 1/22/21 to have the pharmacy call my doctor for renewal of a prescription. I called this morning, 1/25/21 to get an update on that medication. I was told that the prescription had been refilled on 12/26/20 and mailed to me on 12/30/20. I advised the pharmacist that I did not receive the medication, however, he nastily cut me off insisting that I would have to pay for the prescription now. Since, I needed the drug, I told him to fill it again and I would pay for it. However, after our call, I called my doctor who informed me that he renewed that prescription on 1/12/21 not in December 2020. I called CVS again where the same gentleman answered to phone and as soon as I started to talk, he hung up on me. I wasnt confrontational and I just wanted to tell him that an error was made. I want him to be advised that he cannot speak to people as though they were stupid and that customer service at CVS isn't dead! I am really upset and this man must be told that respect for customers is as important to CVS as it is at Macy's!
Desired outcome: I want an apology from him and to know that he will be considerate in the future to all customers, especially Senior Citizens!
