My phone was stolen and sold to an ecoATM which was then pinged when the company turned my phone on, the location popped up in a gazelle in Louisville,KY and when the company realized it was stolen they just turned it back off, even though lost mode provides a number to call, and I had to be the one to reach out to them and open a claims case. After I was given a time limit of 11 days to get the police report copy to them, while with the officer, he told me that him closing the case was enough to get my phone back because that means he wants to not go any further with it, and I should have no trouble getting it back. Instead, I have been waiting two week for the "other department" to reach out to the police officer for written authorization, that he himself said wasn't needed. Only to find out when reaching out to him myself, that they hadn't even tried contacting him at all. Meaning that for two weeks you guys have had me look dumb thinking you actually care about getting my STOLEN phone back, when there has actually been no effort to try and close this freaking case.
