CVS - unethical behavior

On Saturday, November 2, 2019 @ 7:22 p.m., I went to the above CVS location (Store #: 6054) with my mother to purchase a couple of items. When we arrived at the register (Register #02/Cashier #: 1766795) that was assigned to Jake, he rang up our items. My mother was going to pay for the items using her OTC card. I realized that some of the items my mother chose were not OTC eligible. Therefore, I told Jake that I was going to add two more items that my mother had already chosen. They were Neutrogena products. When I came back to the register with the additional items, he got annoyed with me and said "oh, you're going to add more items after I already rang you up?" I told him if "was too difficult for him add the items?" He made a snarky remark and that is when I requested to speak to the manager. I guess this must have upset him because he began making more snarky remarks.
Rachel (Store Manager) came over and "tried" to diffuse the situation. She told Jake to walk away and stop talking. He blatantly said "I don't care, I'm not leaving." Jake was extremely rude, loud obnoxious and disrespectful! He had no regard to how he was acting in front of the other customers at the store. I told him I was going to file a complaint and he kept yelling "I don't care, I don't care. Go ahead!." He gave me his name multiple times just to show me he truly didn't care. He has no regard for others and obviously doesn't care for authority because the way he was talking back to Rachel, I would have fired him on the spot. He even told Rachel that he doesn't care about his job. That was very obvious from the way he was acting. He stepped all over Rachel and that was embarrassing to witness. A disgruntled employee like Jake can be a threat to any work environment or people in general. He should not be allowed to work with people much less with your company. He is a bad influence. What does that say about your company having people like him working in one of your stores? I will never set foot in that store again. I did not feel safe. I was very upset and humiliated to be put in such an awkward and uncomfortable situation especially in front of my mother. If some of your values, consists of treating people with respect and compassion so they feel valued and appreciated, why have someone like Jake work for you? He should be held accountable for his actions. I would recommend you fire Jake. Trust me when I say that if he was out of line with me and I didn't overreact, next time he may find himself in a bad situation. Someone may not take his attitude or comments so lightly. His behavior and actions are truly a bad reflection on your company. If I would have been the manager, I would have fired him on the spot!
