I visited Popeyes today, 10/27/20 around 12:30pm, lunchtime, the line was short, so I was optimistic. Here are my issues:
1. I was rudely told I couldnt add to my order at drive thru
2. My order was given to me incomplete, so I was handed my biscuit, which could have at least been put in a bag
3. I discovered that my tenders are undercooked, once I returned to work.
4. I didnt get a receipt
5. Cashier looked unkempt... As if neither her nor her clothes were clean. The rest of the crew did not look too bad but their appearance could have been better.
6. The other crew members seemed to be standing around
7. There was trash strewn around the parking lot
I want to patronize eateries in black neighborhoods because I think it is important, however, I find that I dont for the very reasons that I mentioned today. It is a travesty that owners allow their employees to come to work without one ounce of customer service abilities or desires. Where are the standards? I guess they are at Chick-fil-a... Where I will be spending my money from now on, or anywhere else for that matter. I am disappointed and ashamed that this is acceptable in our black neighborhoods.
What I desire is for the franchise to adjust their standards and require more their employees. Until then, I will not be returning! That is unfortunate because I really like a lot of your items but I just cannot do this anymore! No self respect, at all!
