Harbor Freight Tools

I got a replacement, Bauer Thickness Planer, approx. May, 21 2023. The planer sat in my garage, until I just used it, Monday, 02/19.2024. As stated in a previous coraspondence, I planed 7 Popular and 4 Black Walnut boards, It was used for Approx. 3 to 4 hours, then all of a sudden the planer started making a very loud screaching noise. I turned the machine off, and I am now trying to figure out what I can do, Unfortunently just after I got the replacement planer, I came down sick, and I did not get a chance to get the replacement warranty. As, I have researched Harbor Freight, they do not even have a repair facility that one could turn to be able to get any help.? I have bought many items from Harbor Freight, and had been very satisfied, but after my recent experience, it makes me wonder if I want to continue dealing with this company.? As is mentioned above, the planer sat for over 9 months, and when I finally decided to try and use it, the above happened, if one takes a look at the planer, you can see it looks practickly brand new. I sure wish I could find a solution to my above problem, Please tell me what I could be able to do, I am totally handicaped with M.S. and am not able to get around very much.
