Since the original covid shut down in March 2020, my local Popeye's on Secor Rd. In Toledo, Ohio has been offering drive thru service only. There are usually four or five cars ahead of me, and my average wait time has been a ridiculously long wait of 20 to 25 minutes in line before It is my turn to pay and receive my order. With that being said, I have drastically reduced the times I have stopped there over the past year because that is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for fast food. Yesterday I decided to go there and there were five cars ahead of me and I waited 67 minutes to finally get my order. I could not leave the line as there is a concrete barrier in the drive thru lane. My receipt order number was 681 on Feb 28 with a time stamp of 6:24. My total for four chicken sandwiches, 1 lg. Mashed potatoes and 1 reg. Fries was $22.74. This was the worst service experience I have ever encountered and I want a full refund of the amount I paid since I was literally held hostage for over an hour and could not leave because of the concrete barrier.
