This pharmacy has been withholding my antidepressant medication. For the last six days I have been trying to get it refilled and they keep telling me that it has not been approved and that they have been leaving messages with my doctor. Which is false my doctor has no record of them calling about my medication and has no messages. My doctor has also sent in the prescription six times and has called them. When she spoke with them on the phone they said they were filling it and then it would be ready that day. When I went in to go get it they told me the medicine could not be refilled because it had not been approved. The next day I was at my doctors office when they called once more and had it on speaker phone saying that they would fill it and it would be ready that day. Once again I go and they tell me it cannot be refilled without approval. They are with holding my medication or it is staffed with people who do not have the mental capacity to work there. This has effected my mental health drastically and has seriously effected me and my family. Every time we try to call Walgreens the hold time is about 30-90 min and usually they will just hang up and not even answer. I'm seriously considering filing a lawsuit.
Desired outcome: Refill my anti depressants and an apology
This is disgusting that they dropped the ball like this. I have tried to extend Grace since I know that they are short staffed but that is no excuse to withhold mental health medication. I am a stay at home mom of two young boys and to be thrown into withdrawal and sprial back into postpartum depression has almost incapacitated me.
