I had sent my 2008 caravan for a recall and they said they didn’t charge anything since it’s a recall from the company. Well they come out to bill me 2,000 and they didn’t even fix the problem van still turns off and locks.
Very bad service and they don’t inform you on what is going on.
They offer to take it off my hands not even for a grand.
Don’t go here they’re just trying to take your money
Desired outcome: Fix my situation
David Stanley Dodge - Spot delivery/yo-yo scam
I’m October of 2022, I signed an agreement with this dealership. I was happy about the vehicle and my rental was returned the same day! This was great because I was literally stuck in this rental and it was getting expensive. All is well until the third week, about a week away from making my first payment and tagging the vehicle. Someone from the finance department called me demanding the vehicle back. I told them, I’d bring the car back, but wondered why? They told me the lender didn’t like the agreement. I already had the keys so, I was told this was already done. The next day I returned the vehicle and was literally yelled at by this younger guy in the financial department. Completely humiliated me with no real necessary reason. I lost my job in turn as I couldn’t find another vehicle from a dealer and renting again was too costly. This was a determinant to my life.
Desired outcome: I’d like some sort of compensation or anything that reconciles the aforementioned actions that were taken my this dealership.
David Stanley Dodge - Used vehicle/trade
I recently purchased a used 2016 Nissan Sentra from your dealership. I traded in my 2010 Jeep Compass. Initially my experience was a pleasant one. I came to your dealership seeking a reliable vehicle and that is what I obtained.
However, the circumstances around my trade getting to your lot have been less than pleasant. I was told by my salesman Kareem that it would not be an issue to have my trade picked up by the dealership, as my sister had driven me to your dealership. I explained to Kareem that my Jeep had just got out of the service center at Bob Howard and I was informed by Bod Howard that the Catalytic Converter was going out and that was why I was seeking another vehicle. Again he reassured me that would not be a problem. Once I met with Tim Simpson to finalize paperwork. He informs me that my Jeep would be picked up as well. Everything went okay and I drove off in the Nissan Sentra.
On Monday January 9th, 2023. I came back to the dealership to bring Tim Simpson the Title to the Jeep Compass, I signed it and at that time he informs me that the Tow was not calculated into the sale/trade so he could not send a tow truck to pick up the Jeep, but if it was ok with me he would send a salesman to my home to pick up the trade vehicle. he even said that he would see if Kareem would come and pick it up. I said that would be ok with me. I left with the understanding that my Jeep would be picked up that evening by a salesman from the dealership.
On Wednesday January 11th, 2023 Kareem called me late that afternoon to inform me that there had been a miscommunication and that I would need to drive the vehicle myself. By this time I had already taken that tag off the vehicle because Tim lied and told me that I would get credit for my old tag towards my new tag on the Nissan. I tried to confirm that information with the DVM and was informed they do not give any type of credit towards the purchase of a new tag. So I trashed the tag. I can not drive this Jeep to your lot without a tag on it.
We just lost my father and my mother fell ill and had to be hospitalized this weekend. This is an extremely hard time for my family. I feel like I have been lied to and this is one more thing I really don't need to worry about. I will not be able to drive the Jeep to the lot today because I have to meet with my sisters to clean out my father's home.
Desired outcome: I just need this resolved asap.
David Stanley Dodge - Davis Stanley dodge / jeep Oklahoma - Tony Resner general manager sales Marcus sales brannon
I Purchased 2020 Jeep from David Stanley Dodge Tony Resner General Manager advertised on Auto trader call Cash wired to dealership to be shipped to the West Coast. Was promised Vehicle to be fully checked and Detailed Car with no problems in writing. Car was not touched and was shipped and delivered completely filthy without any MASTER Main Remote/Panic key. Was given One spare key that just manually opened the door. I immediately called Marcus and Brannon the salespeople to no avail and then wrote a 2-page letter to them with my complaints to no avail. I then called sales and General Manager Tony Resner at least 10 times with no response. Finally, General Manager Tony Resner called and said tough luck. I am not paying for detail nor am paying for nor sending you the Master Remote/Door and Panic key that cost $267.50. What car comes without 1 Master Remote key? Total Rip Off. Terrible Service, they do not respond - They completely Mis-represented delivery and did not do as agreed and they did not even provide a Master Remote/Panic Key. Once they had my money, they could care less of providing a vehicle with any support as promised. Words cannot express how angry I am at this Rip Off.
David Stanley Dodge - Lies and more Lies
"Don't ever do any business with this company" They make deals that they cannot keep and smooth talk you into deals that are NO GOOD! I went in on a Saturday morning looking for a new truck. I found exactly what I wanted. The salesman would never say how much they would sell the truck for? He just wanted my info. to run my credit. Well my credit score in almost 800. I was told that Crystler was not offering any rebates at this time 7-18-09. I was offered a deal to by the truck from them today and pay a downpayment of $1000 in 30 days and that my first payment would not be due for 45 days (since they wanted me to buy my own tag, and no rebates were available). Sounds pretty good HUH? We spent all day there dealing with finance, trying to get our monthly payment where we needed it to be. We finally closed the deal with the 2 promises. I got a call the following week from a person in finance asking me to go ahead an pay the $1000, they wanted to get everything finished up. I said "NO". I got repeated phone calls until I finally paid and told them to come get the money. I paid it 2 weeks early. Then I am wondering when my first payment is due. I call them and leave numerous messages and noone ever calls me back. I got home on 7-17-09 and recieved a letter in the mail stating that my payment is due on 7-17-09. I called the bank to notify them that this was not the agreement that I made with David Stanley and they said that is what the contract says. I called David Stanley numerous times a day and all they say is "we will check on that". A person in the finance department "Shawn" said that the salesman promised me things that they knew nothing about and they cannot do anything to fix this. Bottom line is that I have to pay for a $1200 tag and a $560 payment at the same time to protect my good credit. They did not keep any of the promises they made and the papers that I signed on these agreements are nowhere to be found. I just want to make everyone aware of this problem and I am going to post and report this on every site and the BBB that I can find.
Sincerely,
Celeste R

I am a 73 yr. old widow. When my husband passed away I found that I needed a car (another story). I looked around and finally settled on a 2004 Dodge Stratus ES for $5995. The car was very dirty and the back window tint was bubbled and hard to see out. My son told the salesman that the brakes were not right and they needed fixed. But since I was still on strong medication and recovering from losing my husband and a fall that fractured my pelvis in 2 places I didn't feel like looking around more. I agreed on the price and they fixed the back window and detailed the car at no cost to me. Then I asked if they had fixed the brakes...they professed that they didn't know anything was wrong with the brakes. Afterward they called and told me it would cost ME $8 hundred dollars. I know nothing about cars and all I knew was that it was unsafe to drive with those brakes so I said "fix them". They did and it cost me $909 hundred dollars! Not knowing any better, I paid. My boys were livid! First of all the brakes should have been fixed before it was put on the lot to sell. Afterwards I found out that the cost was way out of line . I have since found out the David Standly lots do this sort of thing all the time.
When I grew up people always tried to do the right thing and kept their word and were honest. I guess I am naive because I trusted that I would be treated right and not taken advantage of. It's too bad a person has to be on guard for dishonest people. So if you are thinking about dealing with David Standly ...I have one work...DON'T.

david stanley frankly should be prosecuted for the things they pull. they tried to sell me a base model charger (MSRP 21000 at the time) for 27000 only it was hail damaged and they told me they were taking off 6000 for the hail damage. plus they told me that it would cost more because of rebates, thinking I was an idiot. They backed out of the deal when they were threatened to have charges pressed.
David Stanley Dodge - Sold a wreckecd truck and they lied
On September 30, 2008 my husband and I spent 7 hrs on their lot, asking all the right questions. When they finally showed us the truck we wanted I ask" Is their any damage or previous accidents I need to know about" I was told no as was my husband we he ask. We were cleaning out the truck a week later and found and insurance clain on the truck. I have tried to get in touch with these people for over 2 weeks and cannot get a soul to get back with me including the owner himself. I am really in a pickle here and dont know what to do.
