Hello, My name is Lori Fairchild. I truly do not mean to be over dramatic, but needless to say, my recent visit to your Astoria, Oregon store was such a utter disappointment. It left me... just sad! KFC is a bit more money and calories than I can generally afford. On Dec 8th thou, we decided to treat ourselves to KFC. U was so excited! While the gal that waited on us was very friendly and nice, the food that we received was so much less that what we had both expected. We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. I am not sure how it normally comes, but this wasnt moist and tender, nothing close to it, and then just plopped on a cold bun... the fries were fine. I am guessing that fresh, they would have been so much better! The other item ordered was a 2 piece chicken meal. Good thing that we wanted mashed potatoes because she did tell us that that is what we would be receiving. I just knew that my mouth was watering for all of the juicy, slightly spicy tender goodness of peeling that entire layer of skin off... a bit crispy, warm, and oh my nothing better in this world! What I got was a very small thigh, a piece of skin a crossed the top that to me appeared to have sat in a vat of oil for hours, if not days. I did not even eat the meat, it appeared that it could have been wrung out. I was soooo disappointed! That all made me start looking around. We were the only people in the restaurant, I am guessing that it was about 2;30. The table next to us, there were French fries and napkins and other things all over the floor, possibly a huge lunch rush, no time to clean it up? But, no, that made no sense based on the two pieces of chicken that I was served... they should have been fresh them. My friend had the crispy one, he doesnt say much, but when questioned, he was very unsatisfied also. I believe that our bill was only about $12... and perhaps we simply expected too much.
Again, I am sorry to bother you, this just keeps going back and forth in my mind. I figured that if I owned this restrarant, that I would want to know. Another thing... no napkins in the bag? no one checking on us, attempting an upsell? Asking if everything was okay? Cleaning the space next to us?
Just wanted to let you know how very, very disappointed that we were.

and trying to file a complaint is a joke! either the websites dont work, dont make sense or I am simply an idiot!
Desired outcome: refund, apology. free meal coupons! this has now become simply unbelievable!!!
