Put a bedroom furniture set on layaway July 2018 paid it off June 2019. Called to see if it was in stock. Was told that set was discontinued. So I was paying on something that was discontinued. When I asked why nobody told me they gave me a piss poor excuse that the girl who sold it to me quit and they couldnt go into the computer to see who her customers were. Okay... Told to come in and pick something else out. Go to store July 6th and magically the regional mgr. Chris was able to find all my furniture in other warehouses scattered. Nightstand had to be shipped from OH. He had a cocky attitude with me. Was told to give 7-10 days. Call on the 11th day the regional mgr answered the phone telling me not all pieces were there and he had to order the nightstand from OH. I asked him why didnt he order it like he said he was going to on July 6th. No real answer. Was told to give it another week and to call back. I call back again a week later not everything was in. Was told to call back on the following Thursday cause my stuff was being shipped from the Penn Hills location on Rodi Rd. Call back a week later and its STILL not in. I ask what's the deal here? Was put on hold so they could ask a mgr what's going on with my furniture. Was told they would call me back in 30 minutes. 2 hours later still no phone call. I call them and ask where is my furniture? They proceeded to tell me that they were going to deliver my stuff from the Penn Hills location to the Carnegie location the next morning and once they receive I was told it was going to be all placed aside on a pallet and I was going to receive a call once it was in. That was on Thursday August 8th. So now we are already over a month now of waiting. I received no phone call on Aug 9th. I called the store at 715pm. They close at 8. I called and asked if my furniture ever came in? Placed on hold. He comes back on and proceeded to tell me ah ma'am I'm not sure what happened but they never drove your furniture over from the Penn hills location. I said you know what, this is absolutely ridiculous! I was placed on hold again. When he came back on they offered me $50 for gas money to drive to the Penn hills location to pick up my own freaking furniture! Absolutely [censored]ing not.So I asked him who do I speak with about receiving a refund. He then put on Chris the regional mgr. Chris asked what was the problem? Ah the problem is that I've been getting the run around since July 3rd when I originally called to see if my furniture was in stock. He then told me multiple times that I have not been getting the run around. I told him yes I have cause everytime I call nobody knows where my [censored]ing furniture is at? He then started to get snobby with me. Talking over me. I'm very frustrated at this point. And then to tell me you will give me $50 for gas money to go half way across the city to pick up something that was supposed to be delivered a month ago. No ! Unacceptable. He then went on about how he pulled so many strings to get me this furniture. Well Chris it's over a month later and my furniture still ain't all there! He then got very rude with me and told me to just come there and get what we have. I told him repeatedly no. They still didn't have my headboard and footboard. He then told me again to come get my furniture. I said no! He told me to just give him a little more time on the headboard. How about NO I gave you now over a month. I told him no I want a refund for the full amount. He asked how I paid my layaway. I said by check. He said ok you will receive a check from corporate in 10-14 days. After all that I was denied free delivery multiple times. I mean that's the least this company can do is [censored]ing offer to ship my furniture for free but no. They said they had no control over that. Which I'm sure a regional mgr would have some authority. That store is absolute garbage and the reg mgr chris needs to 1. Learn how to speak to customers and 2. Learn how to speak to women properly. I've worked in customer service my whole live and he made me feel degrading. I better have a full refund coming my way $1, 281.87 like he said. Or I will get a lawyer involved. The way I was treated and given the run around nobody should ever have to go through. I will never ever ever purchase from there again. It's sad because the previous year I bought a bedroom set for my son and it was so east and I had no issues. That's what made me want to go there again for my bedroom furniture set. Never again! I am done.
