I purchased an "Out of the Box" stove from your Shawnee KS location a few weeks ago. To say it was a fiasco is an understatement. I had the stove delivered which was supposed to be $120 plus a $20 haul away. I was charged $180.00 and was told there was nothing I could do about it. The stove arrived damaged. They would not take it back and I was told I needed to contact the store because that was the way it was given to them. The stove was out of the box, but there was no damage. I called the store and was told I needed to deal with the delivery company as it wasn't their problem. The owner of the delivery company came out, said it wasn't his fault, but pounded out the huge dent in the back. Both sides are scraped up and discolored and will probably rust. The grates nor the griddle were correct for our stove. They are too big. I am very unhappy and should NOT have to accept a damaged stove that I did not purchase. I called the Shawnee, KS store again and was told I must deal with the delivery company and they need to refund me. I should not have to do this. I did not hire the delivery company and had no choice in who delivered it. The store told me they would order new grates and griddle plate but that is not going to fix my stove.

I want a new stove that does not have dents and scrapes OR I would like to be compensated for the fact that I did end up with scrapes and dents and overpaid the delivery service.

If this does not get taken care of satisfactorily, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. I have reached out to the Corporate Office, the Shawne store and the delivery company. I am tired of fighting for something I shouldn't have to fight for.
