We went to check into our room on Friday June 16th at the Super 8 in New Stanton PA and we found bed bugs in both beds and then when we told the clerk he wanted us to try it any way. Would you want to sleep in a bed with bed bugs. When we refused and asked for a refund we were told by the clerk that he did not have the authority to charge or refund anyone and we needed to call the manager in the morning as she was not there. We then had to drive an hour away to find a place to stay and as this was the night before my sons wedding this cause a lot of stress and it was 11:30 pm. so there were not a lot of options. When we called the manager in the morning she stated that we would not be refunded for Friday night but we would be refunded for Saturday night but we still needed to find a motel for that night. Now every time we call they say the manager is not there. We would just like to be refunded the $160.00 for Friday night as the room was unfit to stay in. Its not like we are asking for gas money and the cost of another place to stay or for compensation for the stress it caused.
Desired outcome: A refund of at least $160.00
