my husband sister died and we had to go back to her funeral, from las vegas to phila., pa. My daughter booked a flight through expedia bundle package including the room for four days. Jan. 29, Feb 3, 2016. Our itinerary#[protected]. The total package was over $1, 000.00 dollars. We checked in with Econo Lodge at the airport in Phila., the first room did not have a closet and it was a handicap room. (?) We asked to be moved because we needed to hang our suits etc. The room was smelly, door frame was weak and you could see the outside light shining through our room around the whole door. We opened a drawer to put out clothes in and inside was a dirty drug needle and old dirty sweatpants. We complained and the office Dee is her name sent a maid to just pick it up and throw them away. After complaining to Choice hotel about the bad experience we had all 4 days there. It took them numerous conversation with them (2 weeks), a representative name Pete Syal, div. manager #[protected], called and insulted us with a refund of half a day ($40.00) are you kidding me is this the way your treat grieving people. What a insult after we paid $758.71 for tickets and about $320.00 for the 4 days room stay. Please help us we are senior citizens and paid our dues in life.
