I rented a car from Budget car rental through Expedia. I bought a “Car Rental Protection Plan” with the Expedia car rental reservation.
The car was picked up at Billund Airport Denmark on August 29, 2024 and returned on September 16, 2024 at 4:00 am.
On Sep. 4th a small rock from a passing car hit the windshield caused a small chip in the windshield.
On sep. 16th at 4:00 am, I returned the car to a designated parking area, a open field, no fence, no light, no security. Between 4:00 am and 7:00 am, I now believe some one with a beef with Budget took a branch and dragged it along both sides of the car to get even with the company.
The damage claim from Budget car rental $ 5734.35. That amount was charged to my credit card on Sep. 16, 2024.
I filed a claim (Claim # UC8115123336) with Expedia and submitted pictures and the billing from Budget and also the charge to my credit card.
I dealt with Nathan Roman

I think Nathan realized rather soon there could not be an “Incident Report” under the circumstances, so naturally, that was what he would need to have in order process the claim.
I tried to explain to Nathan why there could not be a Incident Report several times, but it was like working with a robot, same response each time. We need an Incident Report.
It looks to me it is a case of: Delay, Deny, Depose.
I need some help, that charge has caused some financial hard ship.
Claimed loss: $5734
Desired outcome: I want the claim paid in full
