What a nightmare of a company.
They advertised one price in the UK then double the amount, taking from your card.
Tried cancelling it as the cancellation is due May'24 but the whole office closed down.
I now have to report them to them to the UKs ASA because they are giving out false prices.
I will also be contacting the Ombudsmen.
The should not be allowed to operate as they are dishonest, not a good company.
Maybe things are different in the US, but here we have standards.
Still cannot contact their customers service.
Awful people.
Recommendation: DO NOT CLICK ON TO THIS COMPANY, they are a scam company

Deceptive - ad not real Fairfield/Marriott sote
Thought we were using the Marriott site as it looked very legitimate. As it turns out, it is not legitimate. Furthermore, the telephone number they give does not pick up. I was on hold for two hours and 14 minutes and have documented proof of that by screenshot shown below. They are very deceptive as well, telling me that they are associate with Priceline...

THE WORST! THIS COMPANY IS STEALING YOUR MONEY! And there is no one who cares! Explanation: I had a reservation done in a 5* resort in Munich from 13/3/2024 to 14/3/2024 by your service. This was done by mistake - I usually go directly towards the hotel, but somehow, I clicked on a link that looked very similar to the hotel's homepage. Unfortunately, I a...

Website is very misleading and does not display the total amount you will be billed and in what currency until after payment is processed. Only after payment is made do you see the full cost of the product. They then say this is non-refundable and cancellation results in no refund. They do not adhere to distance on-line selling rules on cancellations and this is a complete scam. Reflects very poorly on the hotels that allow them to book rooms.
I thought I was booking directly with the hotel in question and have ended up more than €100 out of pocket.
Claimed loss: €100
Desired outcome: Full refund and website shut down

Guest Reservation
This website is a scam. Their website are made to look like hotel websites. They list prices in line with prices elsewhere. Then, once you book and pay, the prices are suddenly in dollars and at a much higher price. They do not have any complaint mechanism. They cannot be reached in any way. They have constructed some automated telephone bot which only asks irrelevant questions made to keep people away.
Desired outcome: Make the website close down. It is a scam.
Guest Reservations
Apparently, I am one of many who have been bilked by this company. Their reservation page clearly states that customers can cancel their reservations. This is deliberately misleading. What they do NOT tell you is that the cancellation "fee" is the equivalent of your room rate, plus a hidden service free in excess of $100 plus taxes. In my case, my "cancellation fee" came to more than $380. I spoke to a very polite customer service representative who assured me that this practice was legal (if not ethical). When I requested to speak with management, I was told that they were all on other lines and unavailable.
Desired outcome: Refund
Hotel reservation
On Aug 7, I logged on to a hotel website. I serched the rooms and fees, and when I made my choice I selected the ‘book now’ tab and reserved the room. Then Ireceived an email from the that stated a much higher price than what should have been the cost of the room (per the wesite) plus additional taxes and fees. What should have been around $210 was actually $267 and I noticed it was from a different website thanthe Holiday Inn. I called the ‘Guest Reservation’s customer service and was informed to look at the very bottom of the receipt where it states that this reservation in non changeable and non refundable. That info was not on the hotel website. This is criminal. They provided a facebook page which I accessed only to find many of the same type complaints and (fortunately) your website.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund from this corrupt business for this room.
Hotel Reservation
I paid $650 in fees for a hotel booking that was $1100 total before fees! Over half the amount of the room cost was fees! It looked like I was booking through the actual hotel site, which is Hotel Marcel, New, Haven, CT. I only found out when I went to check out a couple days early that it was completely nonrefundable, and I could not cancel the reservation early. When I looked into it, that’s when I saw the $650 in fees added on at the end.
Reservation # R4352414952
Desired outcome: Please refund booking fees $650 (Yah right that will never happen.)
Reservation cancellation
This company's only purpose is to scam people when they are looking to make a reservation at hotels. I recently was looking to make a reservation at a holiday inn express and was going to book directly with ihg. When I searched for the website, this horrible website came up and it appeared I was in ihg. I made my reservation and when I checked out, I noticed that the total was more than $250 more than what I researched for my room. When I noticed this, within 5 minutes of booking, I cancelled. Come to find out that once you book with this horrible website, no matter what, they will charge you. This company's sole purpose is to over charge unsuspecting travelers and to scam you into thinking you are booking with the hotels. Please make your reservations directly with the hotels, never use a third-party website to book hotel or travel reservations. This website needs to be shut down. I do not want to want to even give them one star, they deserve to burn in hell and deserve nothing more than zero stars, but in order to post your review you have to at least leave one star, which does not make any sense.
Desired outcome: They could care less.
Hotel services false description
Guest Services on their website for "Pethers Rainforest Resort " (Australia) under hotel amenities state the resort has a restaurant. What they fail to state is that it only opens on a Saturday night.
Having booked for a Tuesday and Wednesday night, I only found out about Saturday only, when I contacted the Resort directly. Guest Reservations would not accept a date change to incorporate Saturday night and are trying to charge me $847 for the cancellation of the 2 nights and that is after 18 hours of my booking.
i find this kind of marketing is a First-Class SCAM.
Lack of hotel receipt & rip off extra fees

Hotel Confirmation # [protected]
there is no way to reach Guest Reservations to ask them about these extra charges they slip in. The booking confirmation says there is an extra $135 charge but they charged $174.40 in fees. I have no way to explain this fee to my company because Guest Reservations only allows call to make or change an existing reservation. If you are not making or changing a reservation and you just want an explanation of your bill, there is an automated response to call the hotel directly. the hotel can't help me because it's booked through a 3rd party. I won't book with Guest Reservations again. Rip Off ! Also, when i try to upload my booking confirmation below, it won't take it. This company is a joke!
Desired outcome: explain the excessive $174 in fees on my bill
Hotel reservation
I was traveling out of state but had stayed at this particular hotel before. I clicked on the number and believed I was calling the hotel number directly because I had a special housekeeping request. I was not surprised that a reservations agent answered because that has happened before, but I was shocked by the price and fees. I was told that it was due to limited availability and holiday travel, but in booking my return travel online I now see that I was connected to this scam site and charged more than double!
Desired outcome: Standard room rate for my room on a travel Saturday was 150 flat. I was quoted $284 and paid a total of $380 after taxes and fees. I’d like a refund of no less than $134.
Reservation Confirmation #R3669555414, Art Hotel Commercianti
we booked the "Art Hotel Commercianti" with the platform Guest Reservations, but we had the opinion that we book directly the hotel. The offered price (low rate) was 215€ for two nights. Until the payment with credit card there was no notice about "per night" or plus taxes, ... After the reservation we got a conformation about a payment of 582,21 €, 367,21€ more than the offer showed. THIS IS TOTALLY CRIMINAL and we'll try to go against this criminal platform.
Desired outcome: get back the money
Misleading fees
I booked two rooms which were quoted as $115 each. Only after completing credit card details did I see they added in $150 extra for their fees - at no time was this made clear otherwise I would not have booked through them. They state my payment is now non-refundable. This practice is deceitful

Service
I attempted to book two rooms for one night. The cost for both rooms was provided to me totaling $498 with taxes, fees, etc. They then requested my credit card information. Then provided the cancellation policies and proceed to charge my card as they told me the final total of $755.06. That is $257+ in fees and taxes! They should NOT have charged my card before my final approval because that was completely misleading. No way would ANYONE pay that much in fees for a service. I was able to book the rooms through another website for a total of $561. They then REFUSED to cancel my order. This website is a RIP OFF, their representatives are misleading and process payments without first getting approval then refuse to address the issue. STAY AWAY!
Desired outcome: Room cancelled with a FULL REFUND
Hidden fees
Today I made a reservation and the total was far more than I had anticipated, which I didn't see until after I had clicked confirm. Upon further examination, there were hidden service fees that they claim (according to the toggle field) allows them to provide excellent service 24/7; however, the phone number that I called on their website [protected]) is not in service and I cannot get a hold of anyone except use email. This is for a reservation made the same day and a 24 hour turn around on email communication is unacceptable.
Desired outcome: Refunded service fee or cancel reservation
Deceptive practices
Yesterday I was online to book a hotel reservation. I thought I was on the hotel's website, where I was quoted a price of $180 for a one-night stay. Only when I booked the reservation — and received a charge of $243 — did I realize I was actually on the Guest Reservations site. The company designs their web pages to deceive consumers into thinking they are on the hotel's site. Then, they tack on a ridiculously high fee for booking the reservation — but don't reveal it until after you've already made the booking. Had I booked directly through the hotel as I intended, the total cost would have been $192. Also, if I have to cancel the reservation for any reason, there will be no refund of the nearly $50 fee. (And I'm doubtful that it will be easy to deal with their customer service department, based on what I've read online by so many others).
Price scam
First I‘d like to mention that I travel 4-5 months a year for fun and the remainder of the year for an work (airline). I have travelled to 118 countries in the past 30 years and never encountered such a booking scam.
Usually I use booking.com but I just wanted to research the chosen hotel on the web. This site popped up and offered a better price so I booked with them. However, the room rate for which I entered the payment details was not the final price! Only when the payment came through there was a price breakdown that siddenly included dubious $19 of tax on a room price of $32. During the process of booking this was not visible. Additionally, the free airport transfer listed on this website does not exist. So I paid $19 tax and $15 for a taxi —- altogether I would have paid less at booking.com and would have had a trustworthy booking pro ess.
I will use my social media presence to alert people to this scam and give my feedback on other travel websites.
Desired outcome: Refund of tax and fees
You're 'lucky' you even got a Reservation number!
I have had no booking confirmation email at all, so therefore unable to enquire about anything.
The local phone number and the US one just have a recording on an endless loop with no option to speak to a human.
Have initiated a chargeback with AMEX.
Cancellation of a hotel reservation
I made a reservation through you for Hilton Garden Inn in Islip reservation number R3387023872. I have to cancel that and try to call you formore then an hour. No one is picking upthe phone, even if you toldme that the waiting time is less then 2 minutes.
Don't charge me for the hotel room.

Desired outcome: accept cancellation without any costs
Overpriced / misled / lied to about room availability.
These people are crooks! They are a scam in a sense that they pretend to be the hotel and will over charge you without you knowing better.
Was doing road trip on the motorcycle and only needed a place to rest my head on the trip. I called to book a stay at the Lake City Florida Holiday Inn. I booked a room for passing through the area and booked a second room on the return trip.
In the google search, Guest Reservations came up as the Holiday Inn Hotel on the search making them priority. I called believing they where the actual hotel I was going to stay at. So I did not catch the scam until days later when other people on the trip where saying they paid A LOT less.
They billed an additional 54.31 for 1 night in a 129.00 a night room. Thats 183.00 for a 129.00 room! To be clear, they did book the room, the scam is that they inflated the cost by a HUGE sum.
They only give 1 day to cancel after booking. Their cancellation fee is a FULL DAY rate. Once the first day passed... They charge 1 full day fee no matter when the trip is. So if its 2 weeks out, they have reserved the right to bill you for a full nights stay.
Their cancellation policy is tucked into the middle of the cancellation paragraph. They claim its the hotels policy when in fact it is not because the hotel has "FREE CANCELLATIONS" ... Mind you I'm still over a week out from the trip. No services would have been rendered.
So when I learned of this, I tried to call and cancel however they claim to have rights to the full amount no matter what I do.
I thought about going through the bank and having the charge disputed and just rebook with the hotel. My fear is that If I the dispute does not go through then I will lose even more money.
The bottom line, buyer beware. These people are absolute crooks!
Desired outcome: FULL REFUND NO FEES FOR SERVICES NOT RENDERED!
Charged $400 service fee and refused to cancel reservation booked for wrong date
Clicked on fraudulent site that had my desired hotel name in the google search as www.thepostoakhotel.reservations.com which I believed to be the hotel site. I did not book immediately but simply searched and looked up rates. I started to enter my email info etc then got distracted. I later received an email from what I thought was the hotel, reminding me to complete my booking so I clicked on the link which took me right back to where I left off. Unbeknownst to me it defaulted the dates to the current day (the same day) versus the original date I entered which was for Mother's day weekend. I also did not notice that they added a $400 tax & service charge fee to a single night's stay until I received the email confirmation by email.
I immediately called the hotel - still not knowing it was a third party site (b/c the hotel # was on the reservation as well). When I gave them the reservation # they let me know it was not their hotel reservation but a third party site. I reviewed the reservation further and realized it was a booking co. and called the other number.
I told the agent that the website had somehow defaulted to the same day and that I did not intend to book with them. She immediately began to read strict language of no cancellations of refund and b/c it was same day they would not refund. When I asked to speak to a manager she put me on hold then came back to. say they would give me a one time courtesy of 20% of my money back! I refused and said I would wait to speak to a manager. Finally she came back to the line and said they would cancel the reservation but there was no guarantee that I would receive a refund. I became intolerant and told them they were frauds and that I would not allow them to get away with profiting by misleading and deceptive practices.
I immediately called my credit card company to report the fraud and canceled my credit card but it is still showing pending - the pending charge showed "cci*Hotel Res" on the statement. Reservations.com later sent me a cancellation email (from [protected]@hotelvalues.com) but when I called the hotel - after booking the correct stay directly through the hotel, I was told that the other reservation's status was a "no show" and had not been canceled. I was also told by the hotel that on their end it shows up as though it was booked through Priceline.com?! I am so furious that these companies can get away with things like this, and that they are shielding their identity to perpetrate the fraud from multiple channels.
PLEASE AVOID THEM AT ALL COST!
Desired outcome: refund $1257.82 & get protection for consumers that warn (pop up) this is a 3rd party site not hotel & fees they charge are their fees.
