Good Morning,
My name is, phone number. I visited your Clemson Blvd location yesterday around 6:30 PM. I placed my order for a total of 51.00$, I proceeded to the window, handed the young lady my card she handed me my card back with no receipt. She then handed me my order, I pulled out of the drive thru took a right into the parking lot and realized that they had forgotten my sides. I immediately went back into the drive thru and ended up behind one car. I patiently waited – then pulled up to the window and told the worker that they had forgotten my sides. She turned to the person who made the order and told her that I was missing my sides. This person – a woman came to window and immediately started screaming at me that she packed the order herself and that she was not giving out free food today and that she was the Manager. She said she had a video of her making the food. Of course I was taken aback at first and I was like excuse me. She then proceeded to tell me to get out of the drive thru. I told her there is no one else in my car and that she was welcome to look in my car that I had no sides. She then ask me for my receipt I said I was not given one. I then asked her to see the video and she refused. She then asked me to leave once again and I replied no. She slammed the window in my face. I said I have no reason to steal food that I made plenty of money to pay for my order and that I was a Christian and she made some horrible faces and started making fun of my faith – mocking me. She then came back to the window and said if I did not leave she was calling the police – I told her to go ahead – she threatened that three times and on the third time – I told her never mind I would call. I called 911cand explained the situation and they said they would send an officer. When the officer arrived he asked me to pull over to a parking space which I did. I explained the situation and he said – he would go get my receipt – I also explained that he was welcome to search my car for the items she said they gave me. He then walked over to the door which was locked and tried to get her to come out and talk to him – this took like 10 minutes. She finally came outside and spoke with him and I did not hear her side of what she told him – he did tell her to go get me my receipt. I own two homes one in Florida and one in South Carolina – I am a business owner here in South Carolina. I stopped off to Get Chicken for a business Outing. That’s one of the reasons I needed the receipt. I in no way need free food. Then the office returned with my receipt – however that is not where it ended. She then wanted a no trespass order issued to me. I told the officer to do what he needed to do. He then issued me a no trespass order which I signed that had my address on it. I was concerned that this person now has my address. I left – now with soggy food – was terrible upset. I now have a trespass citation on my record and I have a clean record I am 57 years old and never I mean never been treated in this manner. It was totally uncalled for her screaming and cussing me out was totally uncalled for. I need someone to contact me asap. To have this issue resolved. If Popeyes can not resolve this issue I will be taking further legal action to have this trespass citation removed. I have no plans of visiting this location ever again – however I do not deserve to have a citation on my record over a Manager who just wanted to retaliate on me because I actually did call the police.
