On June 30, 2012, I went into the store and purchased the Realspace Costal Ridge Writing Desk. After the sales person checked the backroom I was informed that the desk was not in stock and would be ordered and delivered free of charge to my home on Jul 3, 2012. When I made it home from work on Jul 3, I checked with the leasing office to see if my purchase had been delivered, I was told by the property manager that the delivery person was given directions where to take the desk. The driver never showed up I called the company but no one had any idea where my delivery or the driver was. I called the 800 number checking on the status but was given the run around I found hard to believe there wasn't any way to track the driver or delivery. On Jul 5 I called the 800 number again and was assured the driver would contact me. Once the driver arrived at the bldg, he asked if I had someone to take the box to my apartment be he refused to take the box upstairs. He not only refused to take the box upstairs he didn't have the proper equipment a dolly, back brace or an extra hand if required to assist him. Luckily I had family over from the holiday, due to my health issues I am unable to carry anything over 3lbs. I was so disappointed with the driver and delivery. I have the desk its wonderful but the delivery service is not good, why offer delivery service if the driver is not capable of taking the boxes to your door.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
