On 10/27/22, at approximately 4pm, I got into the line for the drive thru pharmacy. The line did not move for over 45 minutes. After about an hour, I pulled to the window where the pharmacy tech was standing with her arms crossed. I sat there for over 2 minutes without being acknowledged. I believed she was serving the vehicle next to me, so, I waited patiently. However, after about about another minute. that vehicle pulled away without her having done anything. Another vehicle, driven by a white female, pulled into that space, at which time, the Walgreens employee immediately began servicing her, (despite me having sat there waiting for service for over 3 minutes). I raised my hand to ask what the problem was, at which time, the Walgreens employee held up a finger indicating I should wait to be acknowledged. After serving the white female, the employee finally acknowledged me, at which time, I asked why I had been skipped. She rudely answered that the prior customer had just sat there after being served, so she served the next person in that line first, despite me having sat there for 3 minutes. She left to fill my order then returned and told me they couldn't find a price for one of my prescriptions and that I would need to come back. I returned on 10/27/22, at approximately, 6:30p, and observed that the employee was just as rude as she was on the prior day, mumbling snide comments under her breath to customers. The customer before me asked about the medication she was getting, at which time, the employee rudely directed her to the pharmacist then mumbled something rude that the customer heard. The customer then asked if the employee had something to say to her, to which the employee stated she had directed her to the pharmacist, (definitely not what she mumbled). When my turn came, she only had 2 of my 5 medications that I had, by this time, been waiting for, (for 2 days). They never update the prescriptions on that list, there are multiple expired and current prescriptions for the same meds on their automated refill line. Rather than check the list, she rudely rang up just those 2 prescriptions, charged me for them, then called for the next person, as if I hadn't made any inquiries. I had personally confirmed that they had all 5 of the meds with another employee who I had given my list to on 10/25. I attempted to speak to the pharmacist and complain about her attitude, unwillingness to do her job, and her incompetence, but he informed me that he was temporarily there and that I should wait and speak with her permanent pharmacist. I've been a loyal customer at this Walgreens for almost a decade and have never experienced this level of trifling behavior, negativity, and basic refusal to do their jobs
Desired outcome: This employee should not be servicing the public and the pharmacy staff should not be shielding her from possible reprimand, essentially condoning this behavior
