Walmart

My wife goes to the Spring Hill, TN Walmart and uses her credit card to pay for her groceries. She gets home and Walmart calls and said she bought groceries, then went to her car, then came back in and got the same items and used the previous receipt and walked out. They said they had her on camera and the Spring Hill police were coming over to the house to arrest her. They made a police report. My wife calls a lawyer. The Spring Hill police came to the door with a photograph and looked at my wife and looked at the photo and determined that it looked nothing like my wife. The policeman said Walmart pulled the records of anyone that used a credit card in a one hour block and took a photo, then randomly picked her name and decided to call the police to arrest her. What the hell is going on Walmart! I called the store to complain and asked for the main manager and he refused to talk to me. I talked to the assistant manager and he said the security team is the one that fabricated the story and we (Walmart) don’t have anything to do with it. No apology or anything. I called back 1 day later and a man representing himself as the main manager listened to my story and I was pleasant and factual. His response? Don’t come back in our store! What the hell! Victim shaming at its finest Walmart! POS company!
