My wife purchased a pair of le chameau wellies as a surprise for me at Christmas only to be sent 2 Right- Footed Boots, 2 different sizes and 2 different styles. I can only describe this as sheer incompetence and your follow up e-mails were not only unprofessional but bordered on being rude.
Desired outcome: Correct Boots delivered ASAP

My first order arrived ok in time for xmas 2015 but they were on the big side so we decided to return them for a smaller sizw !. returned on 5th Jan .
chased 2 weeks later only to be told that they are out of stock on the spotted welly ! ok they offered to replace with a Black gloss welly ! ok accepted would be with you the next day 1st class post .
1 week later still no wellys !
so called up and cancelled for a full refund .We shall see how long i have to wait for that.

I placed an order via the Welly Warehouse website on the 10th November 2015. Money was taken straight away and I received a voicemail on the 12th to be told that the regular calf was not available for size 8 so I agreed to go for a size 7. There was no sign of my order by the 20th when I rang their customer services. They promised they would arrive by the 24th claiming the delay was because my order was not yet in their warehouse. No show by the 26th and when I rang they were promised to arrive by the 27th which they did not. I rang for a final time on the 3rd December when I asked for a refund. I was very disappointed with the lack of updates by Welly Warehouse, Instead I had to chase my order multiple times and the customer service staff were only apologetic for the last call. I have received a refund I just want future potential customers to know how poor my experience was of this company.

Refund not forthcoming
I ordered a pair of boots on 14th August 2015 and they duly arrived. Unfortunately, they did not fit and so I returned them on 21st August for a refund. Despite several exchanges of emails I have still not received anything (as at 22nd October 2105). I have subsequently obtained a company check from which it appears that the company is somewaht dodgy.
No boots no refund!
I ordered a pair of le chameau wellies 3 weeks ago and was led to believe would be with me in 3 days. After 2 weeks of being fobbed off with tosh of yes they have been dispatched was then told they wern't even in stock!Asked for refund and still waiting as apparently they have tech problems and have to send a cheque.What a load of old rubbish!125.00 still out of pocket.Luckily paid with credit card so once that reaches 30 days will get them involved as am fed up listening to all their crap!
Undelivered Order
I only wished I checked this website before I ordered my Wellies. My order was not delivered. 5 days later I called to enquire where my ordered was and was told that someone would call me back. 4 days later and I had not received a call back. I made another call and was told that the order had not been processed and that I would have to wait over a week for my order. Lets hope they are more efficient in issuing my refund!

Terrible Service
I 100% agree with the complaint previously made. I ordered a pair of Wellies that never arrived. I phoned to enquire where they were and was told that someone would call me back. This never happened. 4 days later I called again and was told that they had a system error, my ordered had not been processed and I would have to wait over a week to get my order. I just hope they are more efficient processing my refund!

Delivery
Ordered a pair by phone on a Friday when Delivery was a MUST on the following Monday, confirmed with agent on the line and was promised the boots will be with me on the Monday. (If this was not the case I would have popped to my local store over the weekend and purchased a pair.) Come Monday, still no confirmation email - I contacted Welly Warehouse and spoke to Ann, a supervisor, I was told that the order I placed at 12:06pm on the Friday was not processed and so has not been sent for delivery, I was even offered the ability to cancel the order! Ann went on to instruct me that the cut off time for next day delivery when ordering by phone is 12pm not 3pm... The website does not differentiate between web/phone orders when it speaks about delivery times AND I was not told this by the agent who took my card details. The website boasts "99%" of all deliveries arrive next day, I've also seen a comment from a Welly Warehouse representative boasting feedback is "99%" of the time positive... Makes you wonder, are these figures accurate? Or do the Welly Warehouse staff think they're being intelligent business people by leaving 1% open to speculation? This leaves me in a very frustrating situation as the boots are needed tonight and all Welly Warehouse can do is advise me appropriate action will be taken internally... GREAT.
Unsatisfactory Condition/Quality of Goods
My first order was for 2 pairs of Hunter Original boots however, I was informed just prior to the dispatch of 1 pair that the other pair was not available; this was communicated via e-mail and I was told to contact the company to discuss other options via their 0845 telephone number.
I chose to order a different pair, at a different price; paying the added extra cost however, the boots did not arrive in satisfactory condition and now I have been asked to take time out of my busy day to take photographs and e-mail them to the company!
I e-mailed one of their staff, Ms. Blundell on the 12th of September 2011 straight after the telephone conversation and until today the 21st September 2011, I have still not received any correspondence.
Further to this, I took MORE time and costs to phone the company AGAIN yesterday (20th) and spoke to one of Ms. Blundell's colleagues and was informed that she had been off ill...however, on the day of the telephone conversation (12th) Ms. Blundell informed me that she would "look out" for my e-mail...clearly she wasn't looking very much as I e-mailed her with the photographs and a complaint/run-down of the situation straight after the conversation! After her colleague told me that Ms. Blundell had been off ill, she told me that she would have to gain access to Ms. Blundell's e-mail and she would call me back...she even read my number back to me. Alas, no phone call.
I am utterly disappointed and disgusted at the level of customer service from this company.
An update:
Since posting this, I was informed that Ms. Blundell had infact left the company and had left a bit of a mess with her departure. Having experienced such difficulties before, the company called me and they rectified the issue. I received a new pair of boots at a slightly increased price; they waived the difference in price of £2 and sent out the new pair relatively promptly.
I still stand by with what I said regarding how the company handled my issue initially, however I do give credit to her poor colleagues who did apologise in the end. I'd still be wary of dealing with this company but it has restored some of the confidence that they had diminished previously.
All in all, it took some time and a bit of a rant but I got what I wanted in the end...a pair of Wellies that weren't all scuffed and scratched.

AVOID WELLY WAREHOUSE - SCAMMERS! - They take your money and then advise the boots are no longer in stock! I ordered some Barbour boots for my Daughter as a Christmas present costing £69.95, these were ordered on 29/11/2013 at approx 9pm wit free next day delivery. I took into account that they were ordered on a Friday at 9pm so didn't expect them until Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week - but NO! What I did get on Wednesday 4th December at 5.50pm was a call from Katie at Welly Warehouse advising me that the boots were no longer in stock in a size 4 - I asked her if they were available in a size 5 - she advised they were not available in ANY size! She told me to have a look on the website for an alternative. I told her I had literally just left work and asked what time they closed for business, she told me 5pm! I told her I would peruse that evening and call her the next day. Myself and my Daughter looked at the sight but there was no alternative. During my lunch hour on the 5/12/2013 I called Welly Warehouse and asked for Katie - who had in fact answered the call, I explained that there was nothing else I wished to have as an alternative and would like a refund. I asked her if she needed my card details - she told me no, as mt details were available for the refund, so I hung up. 1112/2013 - During my lunch I called Welly Warehouse to check the progress of my refund as nothing had showed on my bank account. I was put on hold for 5 minutes - the operator came back to me and explained that the refund hadn't been issued, but she would make sure it was done straight away!... 13/12/2013 - as yet nothing - no refund on statement - will be calling again tomorrow! PLEASE CHECK WITH WELLY WAREHOUSE BEFORE ORDERING OR ELSE YOU WILL WAIT FOREVER TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK - IF INDEED YOU GET IT BACK AT ALL!
I have had the same problem. This is the 2nd pair of Hunters I have ordered. The first being great. 2nd pair have very obvious marks on them that will not come off, like scratch marks. I was told to take a picture and email it to Rachel, they would then get back to me. No they didn't. I called again and was asked to resend, which I did. Still nothing. Finally spoke with them again last week to be told to buy the buffer off the website for £4.99 and then if this doesn't work to call back. We finally decided to just send them back for an exact exchange however the company they use are just as painful. Print off the label, costs £3.99 and take to your nearest shop/petrol statio which will handle the return. Unfortunately the petrol station attendant didn't know how to use the machine...so we still have them. Awful customer service.

I 100% DISAGREE. I have had a really pleasant experience with this company and found their customer service one of the best I have ever dealt with! A truly horrible company!
I purchased a pair of Hunter boots that I paid £50 for, they were meant to be delivered the next day, however after a week of waiting they came with a damaged box that was torn the boots scratched and the buckle was warped. I bought a pair of Hunter's from them in November 2010, which arrived in a really battered box. One of the boots also looked a bit worse for wear against the other.
I called the company and was told that the 'worn' look was just 'blooming' which eventually happened to all boots. I responded by reminding them that they were meant to be a brand new pair of boots and, whilst I would accept this if I had them (and worn them) a while I didn't think that these comments were fair or just. I was then told that I would need to take a photograph of them and email this to customer services so that they could determine whether I would get a refund on my postage to send them back?! I was at work at the time and told them this, but was just advised that I would get a refund on the boots if I sent them back, but probably not on my postage. I was also told it could take 3 weeks for me to get my refund because of the 'busy Christmas period'. What a load of old rubbish - it took them seconds to take the amount from my debit card online when purchasing the item!
The appalling customer service ensured that I sent the boots back using a recorded or signed for service, as I didn't trust the company to confirm they had received them. The cheapest I could get for the weight of the item was Royal Mail's first class Recorded Delivery service, which arrived the next day (I checked online) and cost me almost £9 - it still took them another month to refund my money for the actual boots and, of course, there was no refund for the cost of my return postage.
Truly dreadful company and service in my opinon and would never recommend them to anyone...
Alexa - I am sorry to hear of your experiences with us.
The problem on your boots was unfortunately a high profile issue on lots of Hunter boots. The line we had to take as instructed by Hunter was that it was a natural process etc. and we could supply a spray to help! This has now changed. Simply, if you are not happy with the state of your boots, we will either replace or refund them.
When you place an order on line, the payment goes through automatically - when we do a refund, a person has to process this for you. I agree with you that it is not acceptable and I am striving to improve things for next winter.
Our refunds and exchanges syetem at the minute ensures that no more than 48 hours passes between your item getting back here and the refund or exchange being processed. although we quote 'up to' 28 days for this to happen. The 'busy christmas period' did unfortunately slow down refunds and exchanges for us.
I am aware of the problem during busy times and we are trying to make sure it doesn't fall as far behind again this year.
Fraudulent company
I placed an order with Welly Warehouse at the end of December and have still not received the boots despite contacting the Company on 3 occasions. They were quick enough to take my money but here I am nearly 6 weeks later without anything to show for it! I would definitely not recommend this Company and it should be removed from Internet search engines.

I strongly suspect they are NOT selling fake boots though. In general a company would usually reimburse you for the return postage paid if you sent them from the UK. As for customer service, even a large organisation like Amazon had long wait times when the snow hit last year so I would think a small company like this could be forgiven in this instance.
Hi Moolake - Welly warehouse does not sell fake goods. We are an authorised retailer and only get Hunter boots directly from Hunter. They are made in China rather than Scotland these days but they have been for 5 years now.
I am personally sorry for the bad service that you have received from us and to let you know that we take things like this seriously, we are setting up a free returns service on one of our websites soon to see if that helps people who wish to return things to us.
With regard to waiting on the phones, I fully understand that issue - we struggled to answer all calls in December and then again in January. We were taking over 1000 calls a day in December when the snow hit the whole country and we only had 4 people to answer the phone. They did their best. We will have temps in this year to increase the number of phone lines available.
