I am an educator in the Dallas ISD. I purchased the above listed printer and an ALL IN ONE DESKTOP COMPUTER as well as 2-year warranty packages for both items in September, 2017 from the above listed store. The printer stopped working and needed repairs 8 months ago. I called the store I purchased it from because my receipts were lost when transferring items to another school. I was told by the manager to contact the regional office for my receipts in order to have repairs made or printer replaced. I have been given the run-around for the past 8 months!
I have been placed on hold for an hour with the representative checking every 15 minutes or so to see if I was still holding. I have made at least 15 calls trying to resolve this matter! Each time, I have been promised "call-backs" that never happened. This is ridiculous! I really believe this company is actually trying to use stalling tactics untill my purchased warranties expire in September 2019. I called my bank to have them forward my receipt for proof of purchase from my bank card this morning. I am also forwarding this complaint to the following agencies:
Federal Consumer Protection Bureau
Attorney General's Office
Better Business Bureau
I need this matter resolved and the computer replaced BEFORE my summer vacation is over and I return to my job.
