Wrote a demand letter including the documents from the class action lawsuit requesting my "internal score" because I know for a fact I am one of the class members based on the court document terms. Contacted AG's office, CFPB, Rust Consulting (scam artists hired by Santander), and Santander themselves which is just like banging your head on the concrete. It boggles my mind that the AG's allowed Santander to administer their own settlement as if they would be honorable after giving subprime auto loans. They have not responded to my demand letter and have actually sent me repossession threats and bills after 2 years of paying my loan amount is greater than when it started.
Santander Consumer USA - Auto loan
I purchased an Auto through Santander in 2018. It was a 2015 Honda Accord with 27k miles. I was in a sticky situation as a single mother and needed transportation for work and to get my kids to school and to their appointments. I obtained a loan through consumer Santander for 15k and some change. To date, my balanced owed has not waived much below the 15k as my interest rate is upwards to 25%. Please advise how I may become apart of the consumer class action lawsuit.
Santander Consumer USA - Applying payment practices
On January 31, 2020, I was in an car accident. I was not at fault. I did my due diligence. On February 19, 2020, I receive documentation that show my account was paid in full. I did not have any fees owed at that time. My monthly payment were not due until the 26th or the 27th of each month. Three months afterwards I still get monthly statements.
