So to start out with, this company has posted many of their own "fake" reviews. The majority of their online reviews are negative in nature. Moveco refuses to respond to negative reviews and only seems to respond to "good" ones. I was a real customer - just in case the owner replies that "this customer has not been found in our database", like he's done with other negative reviews.
Moveco was scheduled to move is on a saturday morning, starting at 8am. They showed up at 10:15am. No phone calls-nothing! We had to be out of the house that day because we sold it. We moved from a 3500 sq ft house to a larger, 5500 sq ft house, 18 miles away.
The movers showed up in filthy clothes, no uniforms, scraggly hair and tattoos covering their bodies like they just got released from prison. They started smoking immediately and throwing their cigarettes on our front lawn. They were cussing and complaining in front of our small children. When asked to refrain from using such language, they just laughed at my pregnant wife. They damaged our staircase, our carpet and several pieces of door trim. They also broke a glass table, dropped a 70" flat screen and gouges several pieces of wood furniture.
I called the company to complain and they never returned my calls. The driver demanded payment prior to arriving at our new home. I reluctantly paid them in cash, $3000.00 and they refused to provide me with a receipt!
I would never use moveco again. I don't recommend this company at all! Customers beware! Google moveco and look at all their reviews on the many, many different websites. Use a professional, nationally known company like united or atlas van lines.
