Dear the owner(s) of Southwest Kia of Garland Texas,
Lessee Oscar Placencia
Re: 2016 Kia Optima Black SXL Turbo
The following is some of what I went through with the lease of a vehicle purchased from your dealership.
After weeks of considering my vehicle options I decided to take my business to southwest Kia of Garland. In the past I always leased my cars so in Sept 2016, I decided on the beautiful and sophisticated newly redesigned 2016 Kia Optima Turbo. The first few weeks of what was suppose to be a great experience it became all but that .Unfortunately it had LOTS of problems as you can check my service history of the many, many, many times I've had the car in your service department. Each time I was promised the issues would be fixed but none of my issues were ever fixed properly. In fact, the issue was made worse each time they took the car apart and assembled it again. I have dealt with Ahli, Victor, and Ahmir and none have been helpful to resolve all my issues. But they were successful in accusing me of wrecking my car and went as far as requested my insurance record to prove the issues the car was having was not due to collision. Then after months and months and endless trips and car rentals later I was told that the issues with the car were characteristics of the Kia Optima. Which if that was the case why accept the vehicle if there wasn't anything to fix and why accuse me the consumer of wrecking the car if the issues at hand were expected from the Kia Optima. I've even dealt with escalation department and because Kia seems to operate with their own set of rules they haven't been much help either. Furthermore I'm being charged with property taxes of the vehicle and KIA finance fails to provide me with proof of bill or payment to Dallas. I've been to the Tax Accessor and they cannot find any such proof. I've leased all my vehicles since the 80's and have never had to pay that. I also have a 2015 Camaro and I don't pay for property tax. Also, recently I found out I have to pay a "disposable " fee when I return my vehicle. Why wasn't I notified of that before I signed. But i was told I could avoid the $400 if i bought another car from Southwest Kia. I was told every else of car value, interest, monthly payment, and if I wanted other coverage for my vehicle. Before I could ever consider to do business with Southwest Kia i am requesting that the property tax be waived as well as the $400 disposal fee. So after years of me doing business with Southwest Kia how can you help me resolve these issues. Can you prove to me that Southwest Kia values the individuals the needs of there customers or in the end is it all about the sell?
