I was shopping for Office/ Gaming chairs with my 14 year old son. We went to the back of the store and was kindly greeted by a female employee. She assisted us with pricing for a few minutes and left us to shop.
A few minutes later we were approached by a make employee. He asked me if we needed assistance. I told him we were already helped. He then told me we were not allowed in the employee area, looking at my son when he said it. He was sounded semi aggressive, as if we were trying to steal from the store.
I told him we were not even near the employee entrance area. He told me, he was just making sure we were aware.
I am a retired Police Officer and in no way look like a thug or thief. Neither does my 14 year old son. He identified himself as the manager when I asked for his manager.
I walked out frustrated and embarrassed.
I guess we will shop elsewhere.
Desired outcome: I want this addressed.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
