My phone went black and wouldn't turn on.
I purchased it less than a year ago. So I took it back to the place where I bought it. They said since it was not even a year it was covered under warranty still. But I was told that they were an authorized dealer and I would have to take it to a corporate store.
In the meantime the woman over there brought out fake designer face masks and was selling them for $10. I went to the corporate store a gentleman there ask me what he could do for me I told them what the problem was he looked at it he said he couldn't fix it he said I could go to an independent place to fix it or I could buy a new phone. As I don't have that much money and I am on disability I was reluctant to buy another phone but I had no other choice because he would not fix it for me under the warranty and that's the only communication I had. At his store he was out of stock with all the phones I picked out so I went back to the other store and purchased one there. They gave me the phone didn't help me set it up I walked out and went home with it. I then received call from the man from the corporate store asking me how my experience was and I told him I was not helped at all. He told me that it's I wanted to he would help me anytime and he could come to my house after he got off work at 7 pm wait he had my address to not far from the store. I said no and hung up. He texted me he called me I texted back to him and said stop calling me.
I called the next day because my old phone started working. I talked to a woman on the phone her name was lovania. She told me that she was sorry that all of this happened and that she would set my old phone backup. But she said the problem was I may not have the sim card in the old phone as they were to take that out and put it in the new phone but she would check for me so she did and the sim card was indeed in my old phone so my phone is all set up back to normal and working fine. She told me that I can go back to the store where I got the phone and they will refund my money a full refund. I took it back and the woman would not refund my money because she told me policy is that it was an upgrade. I told her that's not right I only bought it because the man told me he couldn't fix it for me and then I would have to go to an independent and pay over $100.
I have a phone brand new phone sitting here not being used and I paid for it and now I reached out to metropcs on facebook a woman called me her name is yessi she told me that she would have her supervisor ebony call me i'm still waiting for that phone call but she said that she didn't think I could get a full refund because it was an upgrade. Not only do I feel I was taken advantage of and lied to at least three times and harassed by one of their employees i'm scared out of my mind that he was going to come to my home! I have been using metropcs for 13 years and this is how they treat their loyal customers at a time like this! This is disgusting behavior and not right! I will be looking into another provider as well.
But I am hoping metropcs will do the right thing and resolve this as soon as possible!😡
